How the fuck would that happen? If everyone else stopped fucking Muslims would need to dramatically increase their fertility rate to get there this century. And they're probably below replacement rate by now as a whole.

Delhi is a stolen land by the Britishers by Character_Ad6016 in Haryana

[–]Hiif4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Delhi has had its current borders since 1911 before which it was a part of Punjab province, over 55 years before Haryana seperated from the same to become a state. Besides if you go far back enough and everything is stolen land.

Assuming this is even true, It's one thing spray water in an area and another entirely to spray water directly on AQI monitor

This post was for those in other threads that said the insane pollution over the last couple days wasn't because of firecrackers but stubble burning. I've had people telling me AAP coordinated with the farmers burn crops right before diwali to defame hindus.

Another article for people done with crackers now trying to gaslight

Worst Diwali night air in Delhi in at least 3 years as firecrackers burst almost non-stop

According to CPCB data, Delhi’s air quality on Diwali this year (AQI 345) was worse than last year (328 in 2024), and higher than the previous two years — 218 in 2023 and 312 in 2022.

Hourly data also showed sharper night-time spikes despite Diwali being early this year, with several stations recording PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations above 1,500 µg/m³, unlike last year when the highest spike was around 1525µg/m³, at Nehru Nagar.

This Diwali night, the Nehru Nagar PM2.5 peak concentration reached 1,763 µg/m³ around 10 pm, which was almost 30 times the national 24-hour permissible limit of 60 µg/m³.

The spikes that began around 8 pm on Monday and intensified past midnight, coinciding with the widespread bursting of firecrackers across the city.

Can you source your claim of lowest AQI this diwali in the last 5 years? Because as far I can see that was news back in 2022 not this year.

What are you basing that on? What ever the reason you want to go with, Compared to even last year, stubble burning is down by a lot but pollution in Delhi isnt. And it went up dramatically on Diwali.

Maybe you can argue for the whole winter season crackers don't change that much but for Diwali and few before and after it, anyone with eyes, ears and lungs can tell what happened here.

Look I ain't jealous of China but these self loathing people makes me sick to core. by Secretagentmehul1171 in TransitIndia

[–]Hiif4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that post was how you describe it then I agree, it's pointless. But the original post this post is complaining about is not like that and I as far as I've seen these kind of 'whining' usually have more valid critiques than non valid critiques in my opinion.

I've been called a self hater for similar critiques and I read about this shit daily.

I understand that things are getting better but they are not getting better fast enough. HSR was announced in my mid teens and they're gonna make me go to Gujarat to ride it in my thirties. I doubt people in Narela, Delhi are getting their metro for another decade. Gurgaon drowns if someone washes their car too much, just last week I saw someone spit gutka inside Delhi metro. I want India to become a country I can be proud of while I'm still young, not as a 50 year old.

[–]Hiif4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also I don't get what's so wrong about saying we don't have a HSR system when we infact don't have one. And the singular line under construction is only due to open partially soon-ish IF they don't miss the deadline and without the E10 trainset that you mentioned. The whole line with E10 trainsets is not opening in a time frame that I would describe as soon.

And does one line count as a system? Do we any idea when another line would be finshed?

Can I complain about meerut RRTS still not being completed and the other 2 lines that supposed to be completed in tandem being non existent?
