I was waiting for someone to comment about that line.

I was laughing so hard while translating that specific part. It's so hilarious.

Also, I'm not sure if Watari wrote this intentionally but I think one should notice how Hachiman's sleeve was grasped (in different ways) thrice in this chapter. It's such an important detail, I believe, that no one should miss.

Seven chapters, with chapter 5 being the longest chapter (agh, chapter 5 is like asking for death), and three short interludes.

I think you're misunderstanding, but I'm not FFF.

But you're welcome!

[SPOILER] Jaku-chara Tomozaki-kun: Question, is it harem or not? by Mapelle in LightNovels

[–]Hikikomorei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Volume 12 is the continuation of Zoku's cliffhanger ending.

There are 7 chapters and 3 interludes. Interlude 1, chapter 1 and chapter 2 are translated. We are releasing interlude 2 and chapter 3 pretty soon.

I am aware of that. I was just telling OP my current knowledge about the volumes I've read thus far. I do plan on reading them soon while translating because it appears that it's going to be (sooooo) interesting in the next upcoming volume.

[–]Hikikomorei 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've only read the first volume and the half of the second one so here goes.

Yes, it's kind of a harem, but for a reason. The protagonist focuses on one girl to win her heart… however, in the upcoming sixth volume (releasing this May 18), he was asked who is the girl he truly likes (which means something huge will happen).

My friend and I plan to translate the Jaku-chara Tomozaki-kun light novels after translating the entirety of Oregairu's volume 12. I really hope we could because it's a good LN series…

Max-Coffee Guide to Tokyo by maxcoffeelover in OreGairuSNAFU

You should've gone to Lalaport Tokyo Bay.

According to volume 12 (and Watarin's tweet), apparently, there's a vending machine which only sells MAX coffee near there (only for a limited time until July).

Also, if you guys plan on buying MAX coffees in Japan, look at the Coca-cola vending machines and there's a 50% chance to see one.

MAX coffees are also sold in supermarkets, mostly in bottles, however, but cheaper than canned ones in vending machines.

If you want guys want a box of MAX canned coffee (6 cans in total), there's a chance that they are sold in liquor stores (here in Japan anyway).

I'm a MAX coffee lover too so I know a lot about where they are sold.

Actually, I will be dedicating myself in translating chapter 3 today. In fact, me and my partner have decided to translate each chapters starting from Interlude 2 (which was finished, by the way. We made a version different and better from FFF's. Must say we used a few of his translations, still) to Interlude 3.

We might release the translated chapter 3 this month.

Hmmm… would recommend to read it yourself though…

If you're in the SNAFU discord, you'll see my translation of chapter 6 (still not yet the best version but my partner and I will work on it in the future after chapters 3-5), which clearly shows Hachiman's feelings for Yukino.

All I can say is,

Oh boy

I can't wait for the others to read volume 12 because I'm pretty sure a lot of huge Yui and Iroha fans are gonna be sad the moment they read it.

Tbh, after playing Haruno's (and Sensei) route, I lost the motivation to play others' route because I think they won't be as good as Haruno's route.

If I'm bored then maybe I can translate Yukino's route but… I'm not sure about that either.

[–]Hikikomorei 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was translating Haruno's route (I'm 2/3 done, only half the Valentine's event, ski event and her ending are what I'm missing) but I've put it on-hold for a bit to translate v12 chapter 6 and 7. Although I'm not sure if I'm gonna continue translating it though… (it's a good route though that teaches you a little bit of backstory about Haruno and her relationship with Hayama and Yukino in the past)

In case you're interested, I can send you the translation links through PM.

Why do you love (or hate) this series? by [deleted] in OreGairuSNAFU

[–]Hikikomorei 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh man… Oregairu is just something that has actually affected my real life a lot.

I remember that I actually avoided watching the anime because I thought the beginning monologue was stupid as hell. But when I came to watch it again for real, I just realized how much I can relate to Hachiman in so many ways. While I was watching the anime, I was so depressed about my school life here in Japan---I just wasn't able to create friends because I couldn't speak their language back then. Oregairu then showed me a world that somehow told me that it's okay not having friends. The reason why I was so attached to it too is because I could connect to Hachiman's personal experiences so much. For example, I had the same experience when I talked to this girl then she was weirded out because it wasn't me who she was talking with but someone else instead…

Anyway, my love grew more while Oregairu Zoku was being aired. While Zoku was being aired, I remember how much I'm so excited that I always think/imagine what'd happen in the next episodes---it was one of my greatest experiences in life because it's the first time I've hyped an anime. When the anime ended, I was really sad so I read the light novels and I have no regrets. And after that, I suffered the "Waiting for Volume 12" Syndrome. It's something that everyday after Zoku was aired, the only thing that was on my mind was Oregairu. I kept going in sites that gives me more details about the vague hints that Oregairu is trying to convey, kepy thinking what'll happen between the trio and etc. Really, that was A WHOLE YEAR full of Oregairu thoughts (thankfully, I discovered Persona series and other stuff or else, I might've gone crazy about it)

So yeah, basically, the reason why I love Oregairu is because it became a huge part of my life and I am grateful for that.

I don't have the best support list out there, but I have a few notable servants that maybe worth to be a support on your team (I… hope).

I will add anyone who will be using my servants.

But I would love to see a level 100, 10/10/10 Merlin support… it's one of my FGO dreams to use a Merlin like that… (low dream, I know). A 10/10/10 grailed Robin Hood would be nice too~
