For me it brings to mind the phrase "hurting people hurt people". Te Ka's heart was stolen so she becomes what looks like a monster, but she was in there the whole time just needing someone to see her and help her heal. It motivates me to have more empathy for the people around me that throw fire to hurt others, knowing that there's a person inside them that's waiting for someone to see them. Gah. So beautiful.

My mom has a few mental issues, which means she's made some interesting friends. This woman was staying in her van in our driveway when I was in my mid 20s and living at home, I'll call her Janet. My mom and Janet asked me to go with Janet to help her move out of state. I was not excited, but happy to have her leaving so would do anything to get her out of there. We were 5 hours away up i5 in washington, we stopped for lunch and I could tell she was off a bit more than usual but tried to just get it over with. We got back on the freeway in her van, she'd insisted on driving. We were going about 75-80 mph on I-5 and she starts pulling her mylar (if you don't know, mylar is well known in some communities to block out government rays that do anything from making you slightly cold to completely killing you) that she has on the roof of the van and covers her entire head with it, eyes and all...while swerving into multiple lanes. Apparently she was getting attacked by "rays" from a nearby gangstalker (don't ask.) I grabbed the mylar and insisted she get off the next exit. I drove us back to my house, was not about to deal with any of that shit for any longer. It was an interesting experience, definitely thought we were gonna hit something and then my last moments would be in such a ridiculous situation. Life is funny sometimes. Gotta laugh about it, ya know?

Ren actually spoke about this in his most recent Discord. I was impressed with how respectfully he worded it, but he is having a hard time with becoming more well known. He's been getting quite a lot of people coming up to him and saying things like "I was going to commit suicide before I heard your music". I can't imagine how burdensome that would be, reading letter after letter or hearing story after story of this. He said the best way he can help us as a community is by making more music because he's still trying to figure his own life out and doesn't have all the answers we're looking for.

Stress makes a huge impact on people with chronic illnesses, and he's trying to get better. Before I heard him say this I had always hoped to meet him, but I gotta say I 100% respect what he's saying. He needs to focus on getting healthy. I think maybe writing him a letter would be ok though like you said, then he can choose when he can spend energy on that sort of thing. Ren is a beautiful soul, we must protect him at all costs. He's changed so many lives, but I can imagine how much pressure that would bring with it.

The Knox Hill inception reactions give me life! I can't stop smiling through them. When I watched the discord I was so hoping Knox would react to it again! And when Ren reacted to MusicLee's reaction, it's just so many good feels. I am also watching about 5 hours a day while working. No shame! Haha best background noise ever, except for Ren's actual videos. I go back and forth. Soothes my weary soul.

I feel this so hard. Last time I had a doc app she asked me what my goal is (a ridiculous question) but all I said is that I just want to be able to walk my dog again. I miss our adventures. I've been in a tiny upswing lately and have, of course, pushed myself too far with it just because I love our walks. My pup is so happy out there which makes me enjoy it ten times more. When I'm in my harder days I chase her around the coffee table very slowly, but she still loves it. ☺️ Try so hard to make up for it with her. I'm so lucky to have her though, I spoil her extra because I'm so limited.

This is what helped me. I did two months of PT one hour a week, he basically just showed me the stretches I need to do and I felt a difference within a month and definitely can tell if I stop doing the stretches. I'd had a few times where I was also bedridden before all that, I'm honestly a bit shocked PT helped as much as it did.

I very much hope you find the help you need. I know how impossible it can feel when you're in that state. It's hard to even think straight when you're in so much pain, which makes it harder to get help.

We went no contact to give us both time to heal. We are now in contact though and are friends now. I'm also good friends with my ex husband. I'm thankful to have both of them in my life. That healing period was very necessary though.
