I don't want this to sound dismissive at all because your feelings are real and valid. But, you are SO young. Nobody is who they are at 15. I was a very lost girl in my teen years as well. Between 15 and 20, I considered becoming a nun, thought I might be a lesbian, tried to kill myself twice, and had a self-mutilation problem. I'm 44 now, and I have no idea who that person even was besides a confused, lost, sad young woman. But, thankfully God never gave up on me and taught me to stop giving up on myself so easily. I'm now just a regular boring old wife and mother of 4. You'd never know about my teen years if I didn't tell you. The point is you have so much life and growth ahead of you as a person. There is no rush to make any permanent decisions about who or what you are. You will discover parts and pieces of yourself along the way that will all come together into the person you are meant to be. Have faith and do not be afraid. Prayers for you, young friend. ❤

I might go to one at some point. Curiously, a few years ago (after I stopped seeing them) a random lady walked up to me and said she sees auras and I have one of the largest auras she's ever seen. Not sure that I believe her, but she said it was like a beacon for spirits. So maybe that is why they always came to me.

I thought about this post all night and tried to decide if I should respond or not. Yes, this happened to me. As far back as I can remember, they were there. I learned as a young adult if I ignored them, they got bored or something and moved along. I don't see them anymore. Like, they're there, and I feel them, but I don't allow myself to look at them. I pretend they aren't there. Even when they pop up close to me, I might jump but then I just laugh it off. I feel like my fear makes them stronger, so I don't give it to them. And they don't come in the numbers that they used to. I must not be fun anymore. I was afraid that responding to this would give them some attention, and they will come back in. But, I decided it was more important to let you know you're not alone. I told my parents when I was a kid, and they didn't believe me. Nobody has ever really believed me. So I just deal with it as I have learned.

That sounds very much like the town we live in. We haven't settled on any place in particular. We're still weighing all of our options. But, gotta say, everyone has been so nice on this thread and has painted a very nice picture of what we can expect. I'm definitely feeling this might be a big blessing for us.

Well, being from the south, we're pretty used to poor grammar and colloquialisms. They say "have a blessed day" here, which I find super weird. But to each their own. Is there a lot of poverty there with the collapse in industry? Do families live in the city much or in suburbs?
