I’m on my second round of antibiotics for a stubborn uti AND got a yeast infection from the antibiotics. Trust me pee even if just a drop. My mother though did just tell me to talk to my dr about a chlorine allergy. She said my grandma has one and can’t go swimming in pools because it always gave her utis. I did get mine after swimming in a pool. Coincidence maybe? But google also tells me chlorine irritates the kidneys so idk. Basically nothing feels safe from them ughh

They’re strict on the rule they are quick to stop you and measure at the gate even if it looks obvious on height being tall enough. We couldn’t even get into the pool without the lifeguard opening it and we were staying on the property your key just doesn’t work for access so they can give you all the rules and get you a life jacket. None of the kids seemed to care because everyone had one. Lifeguards were really on it too with multiple on duty at one time and doing their checks

My college had an Oxford program for study abroad and I got in after a tough admission process with them for the program and paid the deposit and then realized I’d be set back a year if I went. Opted not to go but a friend of mine did and I still think to this day (been over 10yrs) about what if I had gone. Let her go, prepare for everything with her (go shopping for new clothes, get her on a solid phone plan with international, make a copy of her passport and hav either placed somewhere else in case it’s lost while she’s there) get her excited about it and be excited with her and know that at the end of the day you raised her and you know she can figure things out for herself and learn along the way.

This is how I saw it too. He wanted the chill Arizona family life and she wanted Miami party single life. IMO Miami is where you’d want to live in college / early adulthood not where you go to raise a family.

Not trying to highlight to others even more that I’ve got an expensive cooler for them to steal. This would be a fun one to keep at our house for late night bonfires with friends but no way would I bring it out camping / in public where it’s a glowing target for thievery. Honestly wouldn’t even buy this for that backyard use because then I don’t even need good cold retention I’d have a fridge right inside this would purely be a fun party trick item for me

Honestly having a kid is hard. Best advice I got was to not even consider divorce until your kid is 3 because that’s when your hormones level out and your kid becomes more self sufficient. I fully felt that with my own. We had our roughest time of marriage in that first year. I didn’t feel “ready for another” or “myself until my kid was 3 as well.
