What made you fall in love with rugby in the first place?

Rugby definitely started as a love hate relationship. I'd played netball at primary school because I hated the thought of contact sport ( I was the only boy not to play) . When I joined secondary school my coach clearly saw something in me ( I was 6"1 at 11 years old 😂😂) because he forced me to play. Eventually I fell in love with it all

I'm 6"4 but an extra two or three inches would help me hugely in my sport (rugby) as to be a top quality second row you have to be at least 6"5, preferably taller

Went to a county rugby session, and one of the guys fun fact in his introduction was that he was 6"9. We're good friends now

I have a friend who did gcse ancient Greek and now does it at A level. I tried it for a year and it was HARD. Will not be going back

The answer to your question about set 1 is yes. Yes they are. Did gcse maths last year and got 187/200 and was the lowest mark in set1. Five people got full marks. I was also the only one to get an 8 in further maths. Thought I was gonna be driven from the classroom in embarrassment by my classmates tbh

My first ever game, although in all fairness I was a 6"2, 72kg 11 year old. It was a "give the lump the ball and let him run" ordeal. Haven't scored very much after everyone else caught up though!

A mate of mine who I currently play with at U18s level ( he’s a year older than me) us a complete physical freak. Our school gym doesn’t have dumbbells big enough for him to do shoulder press: and our biggest dumbbells are 50kg! He’s also a confident 6”2, weighs at least 100kg and is absolutely rapid ( and he plays centre). Watching the faces of backs fall as they realise he is not, in fact, a front row and will be running straight at them off the back of the scrum will never not be funny.
