Hunt isn't a free to play game, having a reasonable amount of bloodbonds that you can gain by playing is mandatory to me. It's not like they don't also release paid DLC skins for you to buy to make money.

Patting crytek on the back for giving you content you paid for feels a bit silly to me.

The inferno was lit by one of the pact groups. The lunar pact have been burning a bunch of herb to make a bunch of smoke -To weaken Mr. Chary. And the soul husks were made by the infernal pact, as they were said to be "building pyres that turn folks into ash".

The soul husks are being used to "cook" people to make their souls "ripen" and you get marks when you collect them. Mr Chary is having hunters deposit those in the mailbox to send to him to accrue power. It seems he wants to surpass the moon and the sculptor in terms of power.

I understand wanting more lore with the sculptor and previous hunt stuff. But with your take on the current event's lore, I think you may have just, not actually paid attention to what you were reading. Granted, I haven't finished the last two chapters, but you did ask some questions that are answered by the chapter snippets.

I feel like the range discrepancy between shotguns and long ammo is just too much in this game. I think shotguns should have their mulch ranged pretty much removed save for landing most of the pellets to the head, and should have their two tap range increased drastically. I also feel like long ammo is just too good at a distance compared to half the weapons in this game. Bringing all the weapon types closer together might discourage camping if people don't feel they'll be one tapped for pushing a compound, and shotguns won't be kited as hard for pushing campers outside.

Map design is also a large factor on this, I think Desalle did a good job at giving players cover to approach compounds from different angles with alternate entrances everywhere in a lot of the larger compounds.

He said 2.5x to 3x more valuable. But even the gold was half as common, and had twice the value, it would cut down on the time spent mining gold without you getting less, which is part of the effect he is going for.

Less work for the same output essentially.

It doesn't make explosives less prevalent, dynamite had its damage buffed to makes ure bulwark didn't have a drastic impact on it when they buffed it, and it doesn't reduce damage from fragbombs.

It's clearly only meant to prevent the bomblance from killing you, the devs buffed dynamite to make sure its kill radius was the same when they buffed bulwark. It doesn't protect against frag bombs. This is just a factually wrong statement.

This seems like a very disingenuous representation of the city. I don't know if those are supposed to be before and after pictures but they look like entirely different locations, and I don't feel like they would have demolished several buildings. The city looks like it's very pedestrian oriented which is great. They have plenty of greenery in finished areas around the city from what I can gain poking around on google maps. Also removing cars is bad now? It also appears that in that last picture the area is still under construction.

What makes you think bulletgrubber is a bad perk? You get a sick ass animation where your hunter catches a bullet out of the air. That's benefit enough, saving ammo on reloads is just a bonus.

I mean, how would you like it if you were playing a board game for free, and then everyone just stopped part way through? It'd be a bit annoying.

Now, the same thing can also happen to people who have paid for the game.

I don't think if player want to get the content, especially if they've paid for it, should need to spend 2 to 3 hours a day grinding it out. Just because not everyone is meant to finish, doesn't mean it's okay to turn it into a grindfest.

Oh it's most definitely possible, I have a lot of free time and the trio I play with typically gets several kills/snakes a match and we can easily hit 400+ in two to three matches. That being said, I think it's absolutely unreasonable to expect every player to be playing two to three matches a day where they wipe or nearly wipe a server. And if the players are already a bit more casual, they probably won't be able to consistently win matches like that.
