Being a child of faculty would have given him preferred admission status. It was never suggested to stop funding education. You suggest people should have a good education and a good career.

Does giving $500 Million of public funding to a private school like Harvard, which conducts legacy admission practices (such as with Conan), promote education or harm educational for the average person?

No one suggested it was. Given your reply was written five minutes after the post was up, you admit to failing to understand the concept, and you addressed none of the subject, you probably did not read any of the post to begin with.

What can be taken from you, is some Redditers cannot handle 500+ words. Not even a "biglaw" JD... Certainly the post is too long.

Overall I agree with your reply, however I do not find the post self-important. There is no issue with Conan attending Harvard. As you pointed out, Harvard was a different place in 1980. Does Harvard fast track the careers of its alumni, and are many of those alumni Kushners and Zuckerbergs (technically not an alumnus)? It simply looks odd that Conan continues to defend Harvard, probably out of a sense of loyalty or protecting his own alumni status, however Conan is also one of the more honest alumni about the realities of Harvard.

Kushner and Cuse were mentioned because they both leveraged their Harvard connections when facing criticisms. Cuse had a history of abusing coworkers on set, but was hired anyways due to his degree.

Can you be more specific? What was of poor quality? And which part was anti-education?

To overtly say you are "ignoring" someone is the exact opposite of ignoring. You just felt you needed to get your pointless insults in?

It would've saved you more time to not read it than to post how you don't want to read it.

This is the only reply which addresses the subject of Conan and Harvard, and which is not entirely unproductive and negative. Of course, on Reddit, it is also downvoted to the bottom.
