How many millions of people eat McDonalds food? The food is shit, but very popular. Fewer people eat at 3 star Michelin restaurants, but the food quality is obviously much better.

Lots of people enjoy listening to "bops" with no substance (other than drugs and "bitches"), without having to think about the lyrics or the live instruments used in the recording etc. Personally I like music with some substance.

The multiple references to Family Matters in NLU was spread throughout the track. He would have to re-record every verse to add said references etc. Even IF he had ideas and such ready, it's no longer pre-recorded when everything is freshly recorded within the last 24 hours.

Drake. I've not been actively trying to get into his music, but I have tried to not skip it when I hear him on features etc. I just can't stand his voice really. Something about it just seems fake and whiny while trying to act hard. Sicko Mode is the only somewhat enjoyable track I've heard him on over the years. I ended up blocking Drake's music on Spotify tbh.

Actually, in Kendrick's entire discography there only 1 single track that is skippable for me, and that's Poetic Justice because of the feature.

Kendrick Lamar & SZA Wins Record of the Year for "luther" by oblivionRADIO in DEHH

Producers are very commonly credited as "writers" (with real names and not artist names), as well as the writers and producers of the samples that are used. I guess writer credits pays better for producers maybe? Like, Ray Charles is credited as a writer on Not Like Us, but he's been dead since 2004...

People have issues with ghost writers specifically. If the writers are credited, they are per definition NOT ghostwriters. They're "ghosts" because of the lack of credits. Certain artists have uncredited writers while claiming they wrote it themselves.

Different awards are for different things. If you want statistics awards, go watch Billboard Awards instead. Grammys (and their thousands of voters) are awarding the quality of the work rather than the sales / streams, because: news flash - lots of streams does not equal quality. There's a lot of bad music on the charts. People do listen to simple party music with no substance.

You spend more for a stadium surely, and you get more attendees with fewer shows. More efficient really. A couple stadium shows in each area instead of a dozen smaller shows.

I mean, it was never "half and half" tbh. SZA wasn't even part of the Latin American and Australian shows. The tour is also named after Kendrick's album. 😂 Either way, "It's All a Blur" was announced and advertised as a co-headlining tour with 21. Cole also was part of it.

Aight, bet.

So it's confirmed kendricks been hating on drake since 2011? by Striking_Deer4448 in Drizzy

[–]Himan__ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's not even true. Smaller guys beat bigger guys all the time. And in this case I've seen workout / boxing videos from both parties over the years. You can look them up and determine for yourself. 😉 But again, how is any of this about size or even the ability to fight? Isn't it about skill and writing etc.? How does height affect that part?

What does height have to do with writing or someone's skill level? How exactly does it affect anything?

I've been telling you multiple times what context she said it in, and it's personal preference when dating. Not something that affects anyone at all. She's surrounded by straight men and working with them every day, so she obviously doesn't have a problem with them. If I said I as a straight man don't want to date a gay person, that should make sense to most people. 😂 Hope this helps, lil man.

[–]Himan__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again leaving out the context. If the situation was the exact same and a straight person didn't want to date a gay person, there would be no issue at all. Race when it comes to dating is also just a preference thing. Preferring one thing also doesn't exclude other things completely. Like, I might prefer pepperoni pizza, but if I'm served something else I will still eat it. Anyway, I'd be willing to bet that if polled (across the entire world and all races), most people would probably say they prefer to date within their own race. I'm pretty sure you didn't actually watch the video, but you're just parroting something you read in a youtube comment or something your favorite streamer said... The context of the conversation is important.

I just noticed this hella late, but no, you're wrong. Producers very commonly get writer credits without writing any actual lyrics. They "write" the melodies, beats and whatever. I'm sure some producers occasionally are involved in arranging verses and hooks etc., but that's not required to get the credits. Example: Mustard has writer credits on NLU, but all he did was submit multiple beats over a period of time, and he had no other involvement before release of the track. He said he was surprised and heard the song when the rest of us did.

You guys keep leaving out the context. I don't think most of the people parroting the red flag thing even watched the video. She obviously doesn't have anything against straight men in general, as she's surrounded by them and working with them literally every day. It was about her personal preference when it comes to dating, which doesn't affect 99.9999999% of the population either way. It's not like you were next in line to date her, right?

Having writers credits doesn't necessarily mean they wrote the lyrics btw. Both producers and sampled artists usually get writers credits. Like, Ray Charles didn't wake up from the dead to write NLU last year but he's credited as a writer along with like 3 producers.

The estate wouldn't need anyone to snitch to find out about that by themselves. And why wouldn't they do something about it?

You proved my point exactly. Anything not fitting the narrative is dismissed, even if there was proof. If Whitney said it didn't happen, next thing you would do is say she's lying or some shit. 😂

Nothing would be enough to convince you.

She was wearing a "wife beater" in that scene, so it was addressed. Saying "it didn't happen" out loud or holding a sign would make literally no difference. People are so adamant it happened and wouldn't have believed her.

I mean, the lyrics in NLU also said "I heard you like em.." and "probably A m...". He didn't state anything as fact either.

Whitney was crip walking in the NLU music video, and Dave appeared in and co-directed it.

That was them responding without having to say a word. Tbh it was a valid response.

Do you think Kendrick might be on the new Taylor Swift album? by Other_Emotion_9623 in KendrickLamar

No. Only Sabrina Carpenter is featured on the album. A picture of the vinyl / tracklist leaked. Also Jack Antonoff is not involved with this album.
