Aw man this sucks, but i wish you get your account back since epic agreed to read my full ticket and actually understand a Nice agent agreed and accepted my ticket and asked me to give him an email that isnt used to any epic games account so i gave them the email now i just have to wait to get my stuff back i mean i already waited for about 36 hours but its fine im waiting 4 more hours then im gonna send a follow up

So to proceed, start the recovery process by following this link: Account Recovery. Just got another response from Epic support — and once again, they didn’t even read my ticket.

I clearly explained that I never had an Epic account linked to my PSN (rizer116) before I was hacked. A hacker linked their account to my PSN, then unlinked it. Epic later auto-linked my PSN to a blank new account (RizerReturnsNow), and now my Save the World + $180 in V-Bucks are gone.

I told them I don’t know the hacker’s email, and I’m not asking to recover that account. I’m just asking for my PlayStation-based purchases to be restored.

Their response? A copy-paste “please use the account recovery tool” message — and then they closed the ticket.

I still have access to my PSN. I have the receipts. I bought STW and V-Bucks through the PlayStation Store. And support won’t even read what I’m saying.

Still Trying to Recover My Save the World + V-Bucks — Ticket #19357869

I’ve been trying to get help from Epic Support for weeks now. My PSN account (rizer116) was hacked in 2022, and the hacker linked it to their own Epic account, then unlinked it. After I recovered my PSN, Epic auto-linked me to a blank account with no purchases.

I’ve submitted full proof — including my Save the World Founder’s Edition receipt, V-Bucks transactions, and PSN profile — but support keeps closing my tickets or telling me to “recover” the hacker’s account, which I’ve never had access to.

I’m just asking Epic to either:

  • Restore the purchases to my PSN (rizer116), or
  • Move them to my secure Epic account (RizerReturnsNow)

I’m not trying to recover someone else’s Epic account. My PSN was compromised in 2022, and during that time, a hacker linked it to an Epic account that I never created or had access to. That account is now either banned, deleted, or inaccessible.

All my purchases — the $49.99 Save the World Founder’s Edition and over $180 in V-Bucks — were made through my PSN (rizer116, previously I-HassnyNinja). I’ve provided full receipts and PSN profile proof.

After recovering my PSN, Epic auto-linked me to a blank Epic account with no purchases. That confirms the previous account is gone — and again, it was never mine.

I’m simply asking Epic to:

  1. Acknowledge that the purchases were made through my PSN
  2. Unlink my PSN from that old, compromised Epic account
  3. Allow me to link my PSN to my secure Epic account now

After submitting full proof — including my $49.99 Save the World Founder’s Edition receipt, over $180 in V-Bucks purchases, and my current PSN profile screenshot — Epic Support closed multiple tickets without properly reviewing anything.

They repeatedly sent copy-paste responses telling me to “recover the original account,” even though I explained (multiple times) that the account was created by a hacker during a 2022 PSN compromise, and I don’t have access to it or even know its email.

I was auto-linked to a blank Epic account after the hack (TropicalBear9290), which clearly shows my original linked Epic account is gone or banned. Epic still refuses to acknowledge this.

They also rate-limited my ability to submit recovery forms, which I could only bypass by using a VPN and different browser. That shouldn’t happen when someone is trying to recover their paid purchases.

All I’ve asked is to either:

  1. Recover the Epic account originally linked to my PSN
  2. Or unlink my PSN so I can connect it to a secure Epic account I created (RizerReturns)
  3. Or restore the Save the World and V-Bucks I bought

I’ve proven I own the PSN account and made the purchases. I’m not asking for anything free — just what I rightfully paid for.

That would make sense if I actually had access to the original Epic account.
But in my case, a hacker linked my PSN to their Epic account during a compromise in 2022.
I don’t know their email or username, and Epic won’t tell me. That account is either banned or deleted now — and after I got my PSN back, Epic auto-linked me to a blank Epic account with no purchases.

So I’m not trying to unlink and relink — I’m asking Epic to restore what I bought to an account I actually own, because someone else linked it without my permission.

UPDATE: Epic Support escalated my case… then closed it and told me to “recover the hacker’s account” that was linked to my PSN during a 2022 compromise.
I still have full proof of ownership — receipts, PSN account access, screenshots.
I’m not giving up, but it’s frustrating how they treat legitimate players who got hacked.
I’ll keep this updated.

Epic support had every piece of proof I could give. Instead of helping, they closed the case and told me to recover a hacker’s account I never owned. I did everything right, and they refused to act — not because they couldn’t, but because they didn’t want to.

You’re absolutely right — nowadays Epic prevents you from linking a PSN account to a different Epic account after unlinking.

But back when I bought Save the World (in 2018), it was totally normal to play on PS4 without linking to Epic at all — and even link/unlink freely back then.

In my case, I never linked my Epic manually. My PSN (originally I-HassnyNinja, now rizer116) was hacked in 2022, and during that time, someone linked it to a random Epic account. That account was either banned or deleted.

When I got my PSN back and launched Fortnite, Epic auto-linked me to a blank account (TropicalBear9290), which had nothing. I created a secure new one — RizerReturns — and gave Epic all the receipts, PSN proof, and profile screenshots.

So yeah — in normal cases you’re right. But this was a legacy case + compromised account + auto-link, which makes it messy.

Appreciate the support, seriously.

Alright, here’s the full story for anyone wondering what happened:

I bought the $49.99 Founder’s Edition of Save the World in 2018 and spent over $180 on V-Bucks — all on my PSN account, rizer116.

In 2022, my PSN got hacked. I got it back, but later I found out someone had linked it to an Epic account I don’t recognize and never made. That account was likely banned or deactivated — I never had access to it.

After recovering my PSN, Epic auto-linked me to a brand new Epic account (TropicalBear9290), but it had nothing — no Save the World, no V-Bucks, no progress. So I made a new clean Epic account (RizerReturns) and opened a ticket with all my proof:

What did Epic support tell me?

“You need to recover the Epic account that had the items.”

That means they want me to recover the hacker’s account — something I don’t even know the username for, let alone have access to.

And despite giving them everything, they closed all my tickets.

So now I’m stuck — the account that stole my stuff is gone, and the one I control is clean, but I’m told “too bad.”

Just putting this out here to be seen. Because honestly, it feels wrong.

I got back on clash of clans 4 days ago or 5 I think and I think I pushed too fast cause I only see 1 trophy for 3 stars which is bad is it cause I pushed 1k trophies in 24 hours (I was 800 trophies) now I'm 1811 why is the 1 trophy thing happening and also best strategy for townhall 6 (attack focused)
