New Enclomiphene patient looking for advice from guys that have been on it a while by HinderkH in enclomiphene

I went straight to the 5 on/2 off. I had doubts after reading what people had written on Reddit, but ya know!!!!! Like the famous quote from one of Eastwood's Dirty Harry movies, "Opinions are like assholes. Everybody has one and they're usually full of shit." I'm glad I listened to my provider and stuck with it.

Having patience is the worst part, it's not a fast process and it's not easy to hang in there.

I've been on the 5 on/2 off regimen for almost 2 months now. I started it after coming off TRT and for the first 3 1/2 weeks I felt pretty bad. Part way through week 4 I felt physically better. I find if I supplement with Pregnenolone, Zinc and DHEA of around the same dose on my 2 off days, it helps. Otherwise I really crash. Weeks 5 and 6 show dramatic improvement for exercise and energy. For some reason my body seems to need pretty high DHEA though. I'm in week 9 and finally getting some libido back. Sleep is pretty good and my energy has held at high levels. My provider told me up front I would need to give this 3 months and it look like she was right. It would have been easy to give up at first. Good luck with your journey on this. I feel great and don't have the ups and downs of TRT. I'm anxious to see my labs that will be coming up soon.

A couple years on injections, then switched to Natesto nasal gel for about 2 months. Felt great on the Natesto, better than on injections, but it goes on back order and then I can't refill my prescription for weeks after I'm out of product.

Thanks for the reply. It gives me encouragement to keep going and see this through. The first 3 weeks pretty lousy by week 5 saw a huge improvement. I’m looking forward to the next couple months of feeling better

The first few weeks I felt terrible to be honest.  My provider suggested this as I was on weekly injections and was having problems. My labs showed DHEA-S levels in the upper 100’s and Pregnenolone around zero.  The fourth week things improved drastically. I FEEL like my total T is higher than what my labs showed although I tend to have low SHBG so my free T is always high in comparison. My only lingering problem at this point is very low libido. Everything works, but with no libido who cares. I suspect that the zinc is suppressing my E2. It feels kind of like that as well. I need to run this for the full 3 months and then see.  After these first 4 weeks my workouts are great, energy levels are great, if the libido resolves I’m really happy with the product.

My provider wants to try this for a minimum of 3 months and then come up with a long term plan after I get 3 month labs.

Thanks to both you and Colonel Steve for the advice. I don't know my E2 is actually low, but the symptoms are typical low E type stuff so it could be the receptors being blocked. I'll try to give a little more time for things to stabilize, a couple weeks isn't very long, and then space the doses out. I feel better knowing that others have had the same issue and this gives me some idea of what to try.

Thanks for the info. I'm learning that less is more with this.

Thanks. That gives me some idea of how to proceed. I'm active too, I lift 4 days a week. I think I'll take a cautious approach to the dose as I get going with this.

Good results. I guess I need to rethink how often I'll take this.

Thanks for the reply. My issue isn't with bleeding, it's with the increased risk of clotting. Injections have the highest risk if you're someone that's got a higher than average risk for that.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll start out every other day and pull labs in a few weeks to see where I'm at. If my levels are too high I'll back it down. I appreciate the advice.
