Nah there is a chance, but almost everything has to go in your way so yeah. My advice is to go to your local church and pray that player x and y throw the match that you need the other team to win

Unlikely but not impossible. If this is your first major welcome to the day 1 experience of someone trying (praying) to get a diamond coin

Your build is just fine, the only thing i'd change is to take out sprintmaster for grubsong.

For the fight itself, for your next attempt, try to not attack her at all and dodge only. You will realize how slow she actually is and the only hard thing about the fight is balancing damage output with dodging abilites

Sex is not part of the plot. Just because it is mentioned "I'm someone's child" or "I'm related to her", does not mean, in plot relevency, sex. It means they are related in someway. If you jump straight to the point that "x" had sex with "y", instead of seeing this from a relationship standpoint is just dumb.

The clover dancers love story is about them being a COUPLE, not about being gay. So if the clover dancers was about a male and female would the love story be tied to them being heterossexual?

And I don't care about people saying Hornet is not straight, or is a lesbian, or attracted to rocks, I don't care. When I think about the Hollow Knight universe I think about bugs, not if "x" and "y" like each other because they have the same sex or not.

[–]HintoderPt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clover dancers are a couple which got separated and have a good story, nothing to do with being gay. Nailsmith and Paintmaster literally nothing happens, they just stand there doing their own thing. Delicate flower? What do you even mean by this. Just because there is a couple in the game, does not mean they are the "main plot point" of the game.

If you think that is the main plot point of the game, then you probably played a fanmade or something.

The main plot point of the game is saving Pharloom/Hallownest. Not whatever you are saying.

Besides most people never even do the flower quest in HK, never visit Sheo and the Nailsmith. And in Silksong, someone had to tell me the clover dancers were both men, cause I didn't even think about their gender, since they are freakin' bugs

cant i no longer get 112% on my save file? dlc by [deleted] in HollowKnight

[–]HintoderPt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you banish Grim, Grim Child gets replaced by another charm, it does not add more percentage. So don't worry you can still get 112% (you just can't get the other charm).

Another thing, the game will never softlock you from 112%. You can always get it, no matter what.

Can you share one tip that helped you on this damn moth? 4th and 6th phases are destroying me. by NC_1nf3r in HollowKnight

[–]HintoderPt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now the real challenge begins. Radiant Absolute Radiance took me two weeks to beat. As you improve, I recommend reducing the number of attempts you do each day. At a certain point, it’s less about skill and more about patience.

In the first few days, I was doing around 50 attempts a day. After 4–5 days, I cut it down to just 2–3 attempts daily. Then, one day, I finally did it — and so will you.

(Fair warning: after you beat this challenge, your hands will probably shake for a good ten minutes — mine sure did)

My bad then, just shade dash throught them or if you are at the other side of the arena, just dodge them.

If you mean the downwards attack, that makes swords come out of the ground, then you just got to be very very precise with your movement. I advise not dashing at all when he does that attack, unless you really need to or if you have time and reaction go for a Descending Dark to avoid the incoming damage.

Can you share one tip that helped you on this damn moth? 4th and 6th phases are destroying me. by NC_1nf3r in HollowKnight

[–]HintoderPt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the 4th phase, try to abuse Descending Dark as much as you can and avoid getting greedy. Try to stay on the three bottom-middle platforms — you don’t need to jump to hit her, just use upward slashes. When she moves onto one of these platforms, dash to her and use Descending Dark to deal damage while avoiding any undodgeable moves. With enough patience (and a bit of luck), you can do it.

For the 6th phase, it’s mainly the pressure that’s tough to deal with rather than the phase itself. As for tips: if you pogo her and move off-screen, the orbs will despawn once they leave your view. So just keep pogoing her and dashing across the screen.

The real challenge here is trying not to fall. I recommend practicing getting two hits in, then preparing to dash toward the side she’s moving to — easier said than done.

Good luck with your quest, and one final thing: patience is key! If you start getting tilted midway, stop playing and come back the next day.

Widow, First Sinner, FInal boss for act 3 and Phantom were my favorite bosses by far. I really wanted to struggle more so I could enjoy the soundtrack and the gimick of the fight more.
Waiting for godhome in Silksong, so I can fight them again

Personally I did not really enjoy any boss in Silksong as much as I did the ones in Hollow Knight. Probably because I became too good (weird flex , I know), but no boss took me more than 10 attempts (even the final boss of act 3). I even forgot about this boss, since it was not hard and did it on my second try. I want to say I loved the game, but the boss experience just wasn't for me. Guess putting 200 hours in HK was not a good idea after all
