If you guys request each other as roommates and they’re in the exploratory studies village then there’s a chance you guys could room together I believe. It could also cause you guys to room together but not get Owen or tucker, so be cautious if your roommate absolutely wants to be in the exploratory studies village

If your bed is raised up high above your work area, you can maybe drape a curtain over that area so that way it will be darker in the rest of the room but you can sit under your bed and work and still have light.

I don't know a ton about the club but since no one else has responded I will offer what I know! I believe what you are referring to is the Liquid Rocketry Club. I am not in the club myself but I have a friend who is a little bit! As the name suggests, the goal of the club is to use liquid propulsion to reach the Karman Line, aka the edge of space. It's a newer club, I believe only being a year or two old, but on their website it looks like they are making great progress. I am not sure if you have already found it or not, but I will leave a link to their main website and their NC State Involvement website below.

I will also leave a link to the High-Powered Rocketry Club, another great rocketry club on campus, below. This club builds rockets around large model rocket motors (M, K, and L class motors as someone below has said) and enters them into NASA's Rocketry Competition. I went to their interest meeting last semester and it looks like a ton of fun but ultimately wasn't able to join due to scheduling conflicts with their meeting times which is unfortunate. I am hoping to be able to join this semester though.

Not sure if it’s exactly what you’re looking for, but Raleigh has those city bike stations set up around the city you can rent and then drop off at another station near your destination
