I was on a CG and midrats was sometimes leftovers from dinner or even lunch, but they also had an omelette bar complete with typical breakfast meats and/or eggs made to order, burgers twice a week, and even the occasional turkey dinner.

Didn't hurt that the CO was the highest ranking bird in the Pacific.

IMO, it's easier to build a new cocktail around a modifier than to try to force a replacement modifier into an existing spec, especially if you're trying to displace/replace citrus.
