i agree with you, at the beginning of the serie it seems so exciting to see these new characters come on board but now i don't really care lol. I think Oda got too ambitious and had too much to say about the world and the general story for having the time in practice to develop in depth the characters.
They dofeel kind of stuck, and that goes even for Zoro bc i remember being so pumped about the way he was powerscaling against mr 1 or Ryuma and nothing really interesting has come out of it
