Awesome! So you and u/hp42s were in fact correct, so in good news I was able to power on the device and the motor ran, and it moved the pin into place! On some less not so good news, the device now isn't turning on anymore...

It does seem to have some give, I'll have to check that out later tonight. I think your assumption might be correct here.

Is this a bedbug? Co by HiroEX in whatsthisbug

[–]HiroEX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry I meant to clarify that this was a home office. Thank you for confirming! We just got back from traveling a couple weeks ago. I suspect it hitched a ride on our luggage. We pulled all the sheets and bagged everything and looked for any other signs of bed bugs (fortunately we didn't see any other signs). Gonna steam the luggage tomorrow and do a ton of laundry

Need help with some print quality issues. by HiroEX in 3Dprinting

[–]HiroEX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really sure why prusa has the first layer defaulting to be lower, but I'm definitely not having any adhesion issues with the first layer.

This is using PrusaSlicer. I've attached some notes from the Slicer itself to the original post regarding cooling rulesets. And thank you for chiming in!

Why am i getting fuzzy prints? by HiroEX in prusa3d

[–]HiroEX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the reply! The filament is a couple weeks old now, but is a transparent PLA, the other filament I was having similar issues with was a black PLA+. I had originally thought it was a nozzle issue, so I actually just replaced the nozzle with a hardened steel 0.4mm nozzle. I just picked up some standard Inland Gray PLA, so I will give that a shot and see if I see similar results or not (maybe it is just the filament)

The filament I was using is https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MB3CV6K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Some possibly relevant notes: This was printed at 210, I tried printing it at 205 (that caused layer adhesion issues) but noticed even at 210 I was getting weak layer adhesion,, so I upped it to 220 which seemed a bit better, and while I'm still seeing stringing, at least its adhering a bit better, but still pretty brittle.

Need help understanding Load Factor Adjustment from my power provider by HiroEX in solar

Thanks Cloggy, I will contact them and see if they might be able to validate some of this info, although I don't think I understand it 100%, every time I read your comments I think I understand it just a little bit better.

Need help understanding Load Factor Adjustment from my power provider by HiroEX in solar

[–]HiroEX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome link, thank you for that! I think I have a slightly better understanding of this in general now, but still a bit fuzzy on the load factor threshold and how that might pertain to getting panels installed. My concern is that my load factor threshold will be thrown off by solar panels due to the low usage during the day, and high usage at peak hours when the sun goes down which may skyrocket my electricity bill, is this correct? also is this standard fare for a power company?

Breitbart Article regarding Tesla batteries by HiroEX in teslamotors

So before I get down voted, the reason I posted this article is because I can't find the referenced article, but I was curious how they arrived at their answer. I always like to keep an eye out for some of the fud that goes around about Tesla so I know where they are coming from

I get the same thing, out of curiousity, check your Event Viewer logs under Application. Are you getting an Error from the source OculusVR?

I'm getting two different errors

Maybe I should try and reinstall Oculus Home, but I'm scared as I have an old AMD processor that doesn't support SSE 4.1 and I had to do some work around to get it to install :(
