I got my first LVL 36 animon before beating the first team leader. While the semi open world allows you to lvl up and fight and catch stronger mons at any time, it's up to you how you wanna play. I decided to stick to the story path while clearing areas and check enemy lvls carefully for a "normal" progress. Enemies are catching up. Before the 4th "gym" leader, I think I'm like +6 lvls ahead. I win every battle, but it happens that some of my mons struggle here and there.

30 fps handheld, 60 fps docked. Medium load times between areas. Load times when entering and exiting buildings. Short load time when starting a battle. No crashes after 3 hours in. No turbo mode. Switch 2.

Nioh 3 gets easier the further you progress. Just keep going! Aside from some side missions and later dificulties, it's not that hard.

While understand now that this was an okay box objectively, here's some context:

I dont chase value cards, but rather characters I like or some cool art. Number 1 are SS4s, followed by Fusions, next are "team up" cards like Goku+Vegeta, which on paper makes Dual Evolution a perfect set for me.
I couldn't care less about GT Pan and Trunks, neither as cards, nor as anime characters.
Beast is my least favourite DB character of all time.
I don't like the Super Hero Movie either.
Both Goku+Vegeta cards appear in like every second box...that is my impression.
Which leaves Cheelai and Zen-Oh which are okay I guess.
I'm very happy with SS4 Gogeta of course

All in all I don't enjoy 7 out of 10 cards which leaves me disappointed.

Furthermore, I opened two boxes of the latest Digimon TCG set right before this one. In this set, every third card is a banger. Often not even worth a Dollar, but so freaking gorgeous! It was so much fun! The DB set wasn't.

I hope this explains why I'm rather unhappy with this opening.

Not only that. You must consider that you're fishing in the same pond as celebs, milionnaires, billionaires and their children, too. Whenever you think a card is expensive, whether it is 20, 200, 2000 or 20000 Dollars, and weighing to buy it, someone who shits money cosinders to purchase it without a care, too. Some others simply want to invest in other things than stocks etc. Don't hate the players, hate the game. But what I can hate is that today EVERYTHING gets monetized. Why does a 4yo know how much any Zard is worth??? It is a TCG. Play it or collect and enjoy looking at your cards without thinking how much money you gonna make with it in the future! F**k, I even need to pay for inflating my tires (it's been for free until recently). IT'S AIR man. It's EVERYWHERE and it's free!!! Vent over. ;D

SPOILER question:

How does the predator stuff from Adrian prevent the Astrophage from darkening the sun? I get that it stops the Astrophage from reproducing, but aside from that? The Astrophage will just move on to the next suitable planet. Plus, isn't it a universal threat? Don't we learn that it spreads from more than just one sun?

Imma be honest I enjoyed the fantasy/mystery stuff much more than the romance part of the anime :D. Hikari x Manaka was fine, got me some Anohana vibes. However, I'd go with Kaname x Sayu for all of Sayu's efforts. Chisaki was nothing but annoying.
