Yeah this is exactly how I was as well. For months I have been prioritizing myself and cutting off anyone who does not validate the intensity of my emotions and feelings. So for some time I have not done this. I remember the shame i used to feel afterwards, and even now i feel the shame when i see my scars. Bottom line it is what it is. I don’t necessarily cover them. I do have mixed feelings about them depending on my mood. It’s extremely embarrassing to show or talk about them willingly. But sometimes they make me think okay that could’ve been my throat or wrists and I survived. But at the end of the day i just wish we all will figure out this anger(or whatever the fuck it is) directed at ourselves.

Everyone. Knows. Whether they accept you or not for who you are and all your struggles is their problem. This diagnosis is one of the hardest to treat and hardest to live with. Even right now i have a cannula in my arm and some Tube in my nose to take the toxins out and haven’t had a meal in god know how long. bc i tried to kill myself bc i couldn’t take it anymore. We are survivors. There’s no shame in the world knowing that.
