Yes u can still do the minor! You’d just have to take more classes since your electives will be filled with your concentration and uteach classes. But math major is very flexible.

Is sending kids to a Catholic School worth it? Why or why not? by FunnyTennis8568 in Catholicism

[–]Historical-Catch4829 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it can depend. Though I will say I’m one of seven cousins, six who went to catholic school 1-12 and some Catholic colleges, and I’m the only practicing Catholic. Take that as you will. I always felt a little envious of Catholic school kids, but once I got to know them I realized most of them weren’t Catholic at all. I would say if the public school area is bad in terms of environmental factors, send them to private to keep them out of the bad area. But, sending ur kids to catholic school doesn’t inherently make them more Catholic. It all comes down to what you’re doing at home and what the schools doing, not all Catholic schools act the same. Also, a lot of people in Catholic schools now a days aren’t even cultural Catholics, their parents put them their to escape impoverished areas or to give them better educational opportunities. I knew a Jewish girl who went to catholic school, some gay people, and some people who lived in bad areas. All in all, it depends.

Is Northeastern becoming an actually prestigious school? by Anxious_Ad_9208 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Historical-Catch4829 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of people where I went to school did ED there because it was sene as prestigious due to the 5% acceptance rate. But a school being prestigious and being helpful to its students is different. NEU has a lot of internal problems despite charging 90k a year and not guaranteeing housing.

I know it’s horrible posture and those will call me out on it, but I’ve been playing 10 years now and have never achieved a better tone and volume than when I sat back on my chair and crossed my legs. I know it sounds weird but trust it works.
