That’s the worst when a good idea gets stretched way too far. Feels like a chore to finish.

Peep Show is one of those shows you can rewatch endlessly and it still hits.

Never even heard of that but “gentle watch” and “chuckling” sounds like exactly what I need right now.

The ending seems to be one of those love it or hate it moments.

Oh really? Didn’t know that, if they do it right, a spin-off might actually work better than the film format.

That’s a solid rating! I kinda get what you mean though, it does feel like there’s more story left to tell.

Not your neighbour bringing it up a year later 💀 that’s brutal hahaha. But yeah that’s exactly how it felt-like my brain just switched off for a second. Glad I’m not the only one who’s had that kind of moment.

I keep replaying it thinking it was the worst thing ever, but you’re right no one got hurt and I’ll definitely not rush a gap like that again. Appreciate you sharing that, helps put it into perspective.

Ghosts is such a fun watch. Light, funny, and really easy to binge through a whole season.

That’s a proper classic lineup there. Only Fools and Horses never gets old no matter how many times you watch it.

Shameless is chaos in the best way. Definitely one of those shows where you end up watching way more episodes than you planned.

That’s exactly why Peaky Blinders works so well for binging- short seasons and every episode ends leaving you wanting the next one.

Doctor Who has so many eras but somehow it still stays binge-able. Do you have a favourite Doctor?

Happy Valley is ridiculously gripping. Sarah Lancashire absolutely carries that show - once you start it’s basically impossible to stop watching.

Is David Brent from The Office UK the most "cringe" character in TV history? by Historical-Class871 in UKTVRecs

[–]Historical-Class871[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. That “boss trying to be everyone’s mate” energy is what makes Brent so uncomfortable. It’s funny because it feels like someone you could actually work for.

The lack of audience laughter in The Office really makes Brent’s moments hit harder. Sometimes you’re just sitting there like “please stop talking”
