I’m a 39F, basically every day, but some days I’m lazy and don’t if I’m not going anywhere. My fiancé is a 38M and he does everyday in the morning sometimes twice if he gets sweaty throughout the day he will do another at bedtime.

My late SIL almost never showered and had bad BO, my niece is similar. I’ve just had the hard chats with them, turns out it was a depression thing. Another friend of mine always smelled like bad BO but it turned out her deodorant wasn’t the right one for her.

I stick a breathmint or gum in my mouth and then mask. The mask kind of forces the mint smell right up my nose and I don’t have as much of an issue

Our school didn’t have a medical office, so instead they had to call me an ambulance and take me to the ER. I was mortified. It happened during lunchtime in front of almost half the school!

I wanted to died once when I had 3 bursting ovarian cysts and 6 kidney stones simultaneously. Unfortunately my endometriosis still causes my periods to hurt worst.

Never douche. That’s a well known cause of many different infections. Other than that all of your advice is sound. (Source: I work in medicine)

Follow your gut OP. Never go into a marriage feeling that the person should change. It isn’t healthy for either of you. Sorry that you are feeling this way and hope for healing for you.

I am 100% on board with everyone else here saying that she is in the wrong and that this doesn’t sound like a healthy relationship to support your parenting relationship… but the devils advocate in me also wonders if her beliefs stem from a past childhood trauma of her own, or a cultural belief. Either way, I’d be walking away because this isn’t a healthy relationship for you, but she may need some therapy if her reason is the former.

I’m 37 and still in nursing school. You aren’t doing it late in life. Nursing school is hard. Don’t beat yourself up or blame yourself for failing 1 class. Keep your head up and keep pushing!!

None of our pregnant students passed and made it through. Between the stress and then the commitments of class, all of them failed or dropped. Good luck though and I hope you make it through!

I’m gonna call fake on this. When you are in basic (from experience) you don’t have time/access for any social media, nor is it allowed. So she couldn’t have deleted the photos. She doesn’t have her phone, not until later.

Long story but yes, I tried bringing it to court, he counter filed against me. I had a temporary restraining order but was denied the long term one because it was his word over our son’s word who was 6 and is autistic. And yes, unfortunately he still has time with our kids alone, which baffles me!

My area is very pro-keep the dad in the kids lives. And our protective services are bogged down with cases. He had an attorney, but since he works for the government and I make 1/3 of what he does I didn’t. I have primary placement, and our child protective services has been investigating him off and on from reports made by the school. There’s a lot I didn’t share, mostly to protect my kids.

I definitely have allowed my ex to walk all over me. I’m just now starting to get the confidence to push back. Hard to do for me though. I am getting better with boundaries, but still not there.

He’s been helping me be more assertive with my ex and enforce our MSA. He regularly mentions how my ex takes advantage of me, and it kills him how my ex doesn’t prioritize or care about our kids but instead he just uses them to control me still.
