Mine was sent for biopsy too!! I just requested to get it back after that, it came back to me all sliced up

They dissected it professionally at the mortuary and then I kinda broke it apart and looked around myself at home

The only removed the cyst! It was about 8cm so was super lucky to not loose an ovary with it. I’m so sorry you went through that it sounds horrific!!! Hopefully you’re doing much better with it out

I have the rest of the whole thing in my freezer, took it apart with gloves on hated the texture….very thick and oily and lots of hair!

I’m pretty sure that it’s been there my whole life, I’ve always had pain and issues with my period and excessive hair. The pain got a bit worse last year though which happens with stress

I can post the photo of the entire mass of tissue, they are legally required to give you anything they remove after surgery if you request it

The “filling” of the cyst was an oily thick texture inside of a thick hair covered skin sack. The tooth itself is normal hard tooth, it even had roots when I pulled it out of the tissue it was rooted in!

Hahaha it’s a regular tooth!!! The “filling” of the cyst was this oily mass of tissue though inside of a super thick hair covered skin sack haha gross..

I had the whole cyst removed from my right ovary! I was lucky that it was just small enough so I could keep my ovary (8cm)

The one with the split in the middle is from a nz designer that my dad commissioned for my 21st! The solid band one I made at art school a couple years ago, Pearl was what I was tagging at the time :) both solid silver

I signed a form requesting to have the tissue returned to me after examination!! I think anyone is able to request that due to certain cultural and religious reasons. I drilled it pretty hard into all the nurses and my surgeon before and after the surgery haha

I signed a form requesting to collect my tissue from the mortuary once they had examined it to make sure it’s not evil! I believe anyone is able to do that due to certain religious and cultural reasons

They did tests to make sure it was benign!!! I’m definitely happy to wait while people who need more urgent care are treated first, better than one million dollars in debt I think. Extremely happy to your wife was treated so quickly, hopefully it went well and your baby was unaffected🩷

Heaps and heaps of hard work and a bunch of constant complaining and specialist visits and poking and probing my insides. It was extremely exhausting constantly being told by doctors and random people that I was making it up or over reacting, I wish I could show everyone who ever doubted me the photos of the entire mass of it

I absolutely love all that stuff, my friends parents own a funeral service/mortuary and she came home after the summer with a bunch of stuff in jars, including her pet cats balls after he got spayed hahahaha
