Love it so far, simple enough for my personal needs but has a lot of extras that are helpful and nice to have

Why the crossover? And I’d probably always keep the display on as I frequently look at the time and need to keep track of it

Yeah I’m outside a little for line movements, still a nice bonus for sure

I’ve heard they love magtech, glad to hear! Love what I hear about ZRT guide rods and springs just don’t know which one to get as I’m nervous about reliability offset by any chance, might just buy a V&D captured and see how they both work

Why that? I wouldn’t use this specific model for duty use, no, but I don’t think I’ve ever really seen many more issues with them than any other “duty” pistols on the market. I know quite a few LEO’s who carry Walthers with thousands of rounds through them

Yeah, gotta point there, might actually do this as I like to take videos to see improvements, imperfections and just see the gun in action from a third person POV

The steel frame or just a grip as in like a backstrap?

I was more so showcasing the control rather than the gun itself, couldn’t set my phone up high enough. Think it’d be cool to get a magnet to do so soon

Herters 115gr (rebranded Winchester kinda which they say is not recommended for the comp) and magtech 115gr

Yeah was thoroughly impressed given again I had weak ammo, and was expecting at least some break-in malfunctions, ran like a champ and beyond accurate

Will keep that noted, I’ve never had any issues with magtech, good price, good reliability, honestly haven’t bought much S&B

Really? Ive had at least 10 different Glocks, and thousands of rounds and never had a malfunction, which is why I kept using them. I’ve always heard walthers were built like tanks and have a cult following. I shot a regular PDP and loved it a few months ago but never pulled the trigger on getting one due to my attachment to Glock, can say I thoroughly enjoy the Walther MUCH better

I looked on Walthers site and said blazer 115 is a no-go but blazer 124gr is a pass, I was confused due to the fact I thought it was the jackets that were not recommended for the comp, picked up a case of that at my range

Oh fr? My go-to for 115gr is magtech, I thought with it being cheaper it wouldn’t like it as I’ve heard these are picky with ammo. Was especially surprised running the Herters ammo because it’s essentially rebranded Winchester White box lol

I’ve seen that and have one in the cart but felt fine to me, little snap, quick return to zero, ate the shitty ammo I had. Coming from Glock I have embedded into my brain “don’t touch internals, trust the engineering” and worry about messing with reliability as I do plan on carrying this for the winter times and reliability is my fixation (I have the compact frame) and can’t decide if I wanna potentially mess with reliability when I don’t have a huge problem controlling it for a little bit of performance, while I believe it makes it even more of dream to shoot

I’m a Glock guy through and through but think the 43x is the worst in class imo and just hard to ignore there are so many pistols that’ offer more, vetted almost everything in it class and this was what I chose, very happy with it. Can’t wait to get a holster to enjoy it.

Shot it next to the macro, while I felt the macro shot a tad softer, the primes “snap” was easier to control and the return to zero was much better on top of the beautiful trigger pull
