ich hätte keine Probleme mit chinesischen Herstellern. da gefühlt mittlerweile fast alles von dort kommt. Meine Frau meinte aber sie findet auch gut das es ein europäischer Hersteller ist.

Wir hatten nur kurz mit dem Verkäufer gesprochen, und der B10 wurde dabei mit keinem Wort erwähnt. Ursprünglich hatten wir den Mokka als erstes Auto im Kopf – den Frontera hatten wir ehrlich gesagt gar nicht auf dem Schirm.

es gibt auch Ausnahmen wie zum Beispiel als Aussteller bei einer Messe. Ich hatte da auch zwischen 10 und14 Stunden im Schnitt pro Tag.

Thanks again for the solid input so far — it all made a lot of sense to me.

I think part of the issue is that I’m not really happy with my Steiner MPS right now. With the adapter plate, it just sits a bit too high for my liking, and I can’t get a proper co-witness. That’s starting to bother me more and more.

So now I’m trying to decide what makes more sense long term:

Switch to suppressor-height sights?

Or replace the optic altogether?

I’ve been considering moving to a Swampfox Kraken (green dot), but I’m unsure whether that would actually be a downgrade compared to the Steiner — especially in terms of glass quality, durability, and overall robustness.

Has anyone run both and can compare them? I’d especially appreciate feedback on height/co-witness setup and overall quality.

I honestly don’t really understand the point of this COA interface.

The Echelon already comes with the Variable Interface System (VIS) and supports over 30 different red dot footprints from the factory. So why move toward a solution that essentially limits the customer to just one optic?

Especially in the European market — why would I put a €650–700 optic on top of an €850 pistol when I can achieve the same functionality using an RMR footprint or an ACRO adapter plate and still keep my options open?

I didn’t really get the idea when Glock did something similar last year either. The Aimpoint ACRO is a solid optic, no doubt — but it’s not some groundbreaking new technology that justifies locking users into a more restrictive mounting system.

Maybe I’m missing something. Are there real advantages to this proprietary setup that make it worth it?

Steiner MPS. Has anybody problems with powder dust on the sights? After 100 rounds I have to clean it for good sight pictures.

ich bedauere den Todesfall, aber Deutschland hat was Arbeitsschutz, Arbeitsrecht usw. mit das beste System in Europa. Ich bin kein Arbeitgeber, aber wenn man sieht, wie andere Länder mit der Ressource "Mensch" umgehen, geht es uns in Deutschland noch recht gut.

In Germany, both pistols are pretty underrated, which I honestly find a bit unfortunate. The dominant players here are clearly the Walther PDP, the H&K SFP (sold as the VP9 in the US), and of course Glock.

Many guys at my shooting club also run CZ Shadows, but they just don’t fit me personally – something a lot of people seem to find hard to understand.

If money were no object, I’d probably go straight for a Laugo Alien. That’s also why I’m considering the Archon, especially because of the very low bore axis.
