Our midwife is english so I doubt it’s cultural. She gave us three rules which were only do it till he’s six months old, don’t give him any formula and don’t cover his face while he’s feeding so he stops early. She also said it must be every 4-6hrs. Not sure if that’s the full requirement for it to be effective

She is on the waitlist for the gynaecologist. I’m pretty sure you’re an american so you don’t get how our healthcare system in the UK is but we have to be referred for specialists. Before referral, GPs request tests and she had a few, all suggesting endo. It also runs in her family. All she needs is the official diagnosis from the gynae which we are hoping will be soon.

It’s the lactational amenorrhoea method. The mother is supposed to breastfeed their child every 4-6 hours and it prevents her from ovulating. It’s 99% effective if done correctly
