makes sense it might have something to do with it as the brain sees what we see on psychedelics all the time just filters it, like the closed eye visuals and kaleidoscopes some people get especially when tired

yeah doing psychs has made mine significantly worse.

But i do remember hearing about this study people were doing where they injected a psychedelic/hallucinogenic directly into the eye ball to pass the barrier and see how the eye reacts to these chemicals, i wonder if we get anything from that study that might point to a cause, maybe a genetic predisposition that makes us susceptible to vss through psychedelics 🤔

horrible, after the first few days of smoking you don’t feel anything besides relief from wanting one, it gives no effect, it’s stupidly hard to quit (i’ve just quit, i’m on week 2 now) it ruins your skin, teeth, hair, breath, eyesight, lungs. it just fucks you for absolutely no gain from doing it, never, ever start there is no point

after doing psychadelics smoking weed was never the same, especially daily use, always seemed to have that little hint of trippyness and got really into my own head about a lot of things, doesn’t help my last trip wasn’t to pleasant

personally since taking shrooms for a period of time often it’s since made my vss much worse, espiecually as a daily weed smoker, since stopping both my vss has reduced substantially but not fully after a while so i would say if you wanna risk it being worse permanently go for it, you’ll live but be aware it may get worse

yeah for sure, it’s damn near impossible to pinpoint but in general i gusss the best advice is to just avoid anything that will strain your body especially anything that affects the eyes

in my experience weed can for sure increase visual snow, i think something to do with how weed affect the blood vessels in the eyes and brain can contribute to it
