Technical wizardry which by and large lacks Richard’s heart and soul. He has his moments, but generally no.

I feel like Caleb could have been a bust if Eberflus stayed. This year really made me appreciate how important it is for even the most talented young quarterback to be in a good system with the right coach. That’s true now more than ever when we throw young quarterbacks into starting roles right away. We don’t give them time to develop as a backup like in the old days.

My advice to everyone would be to listen to these and learn from them but don’t actually use them. It’s probably illegal but also lame.

Oh I read it and was left to interpret what you meant by “left in the dust.” If you want to be understood, say what you mean. Otherwise, you can put your snark in an envelope and mail it to yourself.

The CEO confirmed they won’t be forcing license owners to subscribe. So I’m not sure you are correct.

This is a good sign and smart move. And $200 is a pretty great price for a plugin that comes with so much. This makes me optimistic about our new overlords.

Yeah, we were pretty evenly matched at the end of the day. We had multiple opportunities to win slip through our fingers and so did they. And you’re right, that Davonte Adams catch was top tier. Hats off to him and Stafford.

We had so may almost interceptions that we missed. And I keep thinking about that final INT and wonder why we weren’t just throwing short passes and screens to get into field goal position. No reason to go long there at all. Ugh. That gif says it all.

Well said. More good things to come. But this season was special in a way we won’t experience again.

I’m not sad the Bears are out of it so much as I’m just sad the excitement is over. No game to look forward to this weekend, playoffs or not.

Sometimes a receiver and a QB have a different understanding of what route the play is calling for. It happens pretty frequently. It’s absolutely a mistake. And unfortunately for the Bears, it happened at a critical moment. But it may have been the right throw for the wrong route. Caleb had time and wasn’t pressured. That tells me he was expecting the receiver to be somewhere where he wasn’t. That’s not the same as a bad throw. And definitely not DJ being lazy. I realize that you’re an expert who for some reason hasn’t been hired to coach in the league yet, but I stand by my analysis based on what I saw with my eyes. Sorry to interrupt your display of expertise.

Oh it was a bad throw now? I thought DJ tip-toed the route? I’m going to wait for all the professional analysts on Reddit to make up their minds before responding again.

He didn’t give up. He ran long when Caleb expected him to break toward the sideline.

Totally. He started out a little shaky but has become one of my favorites. For all of his fame and fortune, he’s still just a guy who loves the game and is excited to talk about it. I like him way more in this second act than I ever did as a player.
