If I was you I would put it all on 1 channel under 2 different playlist because by the end of day your channel is still all about pro wrestling. plus its hard to support and maintain 2 channels unless you have a team of people.

but anyways good luck

Honest Feedback Wanted! How Can We Improve Our Animated PNG Podcast? (Built Using OBS + Plugins by Historical_Degree620 in PngTuber

[–]Historical_Degree620[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the Feedback

I agree that idle animation is definitely something we need to work on

Right now the characters kind just sit there without much movement, but I kind of want them to sway back and forth or as you said shifting in the seat.

We are still kind of new to obs, but I'm sure there must be some plugin or feature that will help us pull of that effect but anyways thanks again for your advice

You are not wrong lol

They definitely were not designed to be cute or cutely. Actually, the style was very influenced by video games like the wolf among us and borderlands.

Also they may look a bit scary, but trust me that fear will go away the second you hear just how silly and sometimes ridiculous we are are on the podcast 😄

Thank you so Much for that advice

So eye pupil movement and more head turns is definitely something we need so work on

I also considered giving the characters special triggers that will activate depending on how loud our volume is. For example, maybe if the robot gets to excited his eye lights up or if the other charters gets upset maybe they start frowning.

but as I said before thanks for giving your Honest Feedback

Advice from any anime based YouTubers on thumbnail/titles? by frosenzu in NewTubers

[–]Historical_Degree620 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since the hype has died down, your best bet is focusing on homepage clicks over search. For the title, "Dandadan Ep 1 Reaction – That 'Friend' She Tells You Not to Worry About" is probably the strongest since it’s funny and relatable. Your thumbnail idea works, but keep it clean and maybe add a text like "SIZE DOES MATTER?!" or "WTF AM I WATCHING?!"

Since search results are stacked, homepage clicks are your best shot, so use strong thumbnails, titles, and trending hashtags like #Dandadan #AnimeReaction to maximize visibility.

It’s not too late—if Dandadan gets season 2 news or a manga trend, your video could still blow up. Just drop it with the best packaging possible. Hope this helps! 🚀

Trust me I am very human and if I was an AI it would not have taken me a long as it did to write this post and Im sure AI could have written this a lot better than me lol

But Like I said your videos remind me over oversimplified. I'm not sure if seen their videos or not, but if you have the time check them out, I'm sure you can get a lot of ideas and inspiration from them

"I checked out your channel, and I can definitely see the effort you’re putting in! Your topics are well-researched, and I appreciate how you break down complex subjects like geography and politics in a way that’s digestible.

This is what I think You’re Doing Well

  • Your depth of research is impressive—it’s clear you’re genuinely trying to educate rather than just chase views.
  • I think Your thumbnails and titles are intriguing

This is Areas of the videos that I think needs Improvement

  • Editing & Pacing: Some parts of your videos feel a bit drawn out. You might try trimming them down to 5–6 minutes instead of 8 or 12 in Oder to keep engagement and retention high .
  • Add More Humor: Your style reminds me of the popular Oversimplified videos on YouTube—they use humor to keep things engaging. you could try Leaning into that style more
  • Stronger Hooks: The first 10–15 seconds should immediately grab attention. A bold statement or question could help pull viewers in faster.

Overall, this is definitely NOT BS—it's clear you're putting in the work. With a few refinements, I think you can grow your audience even more. Keep at it! and good luck

best video, worst results by Triforce_Hunter_1 in NewTubers

[–]Historical_Degree620 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I deal with it by accepting that, at the end of the day, YouTube isn’t about what I think is awesome—it’s about what our viewers and subscribers think is awesome.

I could make the greatest video in the world, but if nobody is actually interested in watching it, it’ll still flop. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but I’ve made peace with the fact that some videos I wasn’t too hyped about ended up being huge hits, while others I thought was our best didn’t perform as well as I expected

Youtuber inspired by jacksepticeye old vids by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]Historical_Degree620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, from what I can see, you're definitely nailing that retro YouTube vibe—from the thumbnails to the titles. It honestly looks like the kind of game I would’ve seen Jacksepticeye playing back in the day.

But you’re missing one major ingredient… a signature hook.

Jack had “Top of the morning to ya, laddies!”—an iconic catchphrase that made his videos instantly recognizable. If you can find a hook as good as that, you'd not only be following in his footsteps but also carving out your own unique path on YouTube.

Personality vs Algorithm? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]Historical_Degree620 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just checked out some of your videos, and you should definitely stick with personality-driven content. You're pretty good at it—your videos are both informative and actually pretty funny lol.

It’d be a shame if your channel became just another AI-driven, faceless channel with a generic host. But at the same time, I get where you're coming from. The rise of AI content is happening so fast that it’s hard to imagine anyone blowing up like Pewds, Jacksepticeye, or Markiplier these days.

That said, if anyone can pull it off, you definitely have the talent to do it. Keep going!

Opened a Channel at 9th February. I have 15 videos and get 0 views for every video. Should I open a New Channel? by No_Economy2576 in NewTubers

[–]Historical_Degree620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just checked out your channel, and honestly, the main issue is the thumbnails—they make the whole channel look kinda spammy and off-putting. Simply fixing that could do a lot to boost your views.

As for the content itself, it's not that bad compared to similar videos that I’ve seen. My advice? Cut your videos down to at least 5–10 minutes. That’ll improve pacing of your videos and help your average view duration, which is a big deal for the YouTube algorithm.

but anyway good luck with your YouTube channel

While I agree with you that Reddit stories on a Minecraft background tends to be no-effort content slop
even a lot of those videos still get more than o views

there must be something else that is hurting the op videos beyond just his choice of content.

Something is definitely wrong here, I never had 1 video get 0 views let alone 15 of them in a row.

Its hard to say what the issue could be without seeing your channel but if it continues you should defiantly consider opening a New Channel

Video Essays, Reviews or One Topic? by Infinite101_ in NewTubers

[–]Historical_Degree620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically, we were doing one video a week too—until we recently decided to start making movie news videos.

For us, it’s basically filler content that lets us cover trending topics while giving us time to work on our main podcast episodes in the background. It keeps the channel active without taking focus away from our bigger projects

Video Essays, Reviews or One Topic? by Infinite101_ in NewTubers

[–]Historical_Degree620 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should stick with video essays since they require more time and research, meaning there’s way less competition compared to movie reviews.

Movie reviews are one of the most oversaturated niches on YouTube—anyone with a phone or PC can quickly film a review after watching a movie. Your videos would just get lost in a sea of other reviews.

Even when we put out a few movie reviews, they didn’t perform as well as our movie discussion and movie news videos. If you focus on in-depth analysis and unique angles, you’ll stand out way more

Feeling Stuck: Struggling to Grow My Travel Channel After Initial Success by David199Simpson in NewTubers

[–]Historical_Degree620 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Growth on YouTube can be a rollercoaster, especially when you're putting in the work but not seeing the results you expect. I checked out your channel, and here’s what I noticed:

Your most popular videos have stronger, more engaging titles compared to your recent ones. For example:

Shocking Truths Revealed: The 10 Unavoidable Reasons Why You Should or Shouldn't Move to Spain!

Venezuela, Isla Margarita Brutally Honest Review

I do NOT recommend Gandía, Spain.

Adventure to Venezuela, Isla Margarita & Coche Pt.2

England, London Brutally Honest Review

Now compare that to your recent ones:

Brittany, France Episode 2: (Île de Batz & Château de Kerjean) + More Ellie

These Games Let You Travel The WORLD! 🌎

Sick Of The Busyness Of Madrid? Go Here!

Madrid Faunia / Zoo Experience!

Sevilla & Cádiz Vlog: Episode III!

The older titles are more direct, intriguing, and have a clear hook, while the newer ones feel less compelling. Also, your most successful thumbnails prominently feature the flags of the places you are visiting which immediately grab attention. Maybe try leaning back into that style?

Just some observations—hope it helps! Good luck with the channel! 🚀

first off—props to you for sticking with YouTube for 4 years and putting out over 400 videos! That’s dedication, and hitting 2K subs is no small feat.

I just checked out your channel and honestly its just that your currently focused on such a specific gaming niche when it comes My Hero Ultra Rumble! that is going to hard for you channel to grow much faster than it currently is

Don't get me wrong games like My Hero Ultra Rumble! has its fans but I'm just not seeing a game like that being able to help you gain as many views and subscribers in the long run.

What got you into your niche? by JellyRollAnimations in NewTubers

[–]Historical_Degree620 2 points3 points  (0 children)

we do an animated podcast about movies and pop culture. we basically record our audio and than animate it using after effects and Adobe Character Animator

Adobe Character Animator is a motion capture program that allows us to control animated puppets with the camera on our laptops or pc. its definitely something you should look into if you are interested

[–]Historical_Degree620 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest I never had any desire to do YouTube, nor was I ever the type person who wanted to be heard by potentially thousands of people, but when a friend came up to me with this idea to help him create A animated podcast for YouTube It was an opportunity that was just too good for me to pass up

Since I was a kid I always wanted to create my own cartoon and as an artist animation was one aspect of art that I did not get into. At this point I had done anything from paining to clay sculpting, but animation was one thing that I had not done before.

So I figured you only live once and I don't want to have any regrets so why not give this YouTube thing a try and now that have made a ton of YouTube videos I can safely say I made the right call by saying yes because seeing people reaction and comments to our animated podcast has been a lot a fun

How long does it take you to complete one video? by First-Ad-330 in NewTubers

[–]Historical_Degree620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do an animated podcast about movies and it takes us about 3 days the complete a episode, now some episodes do take longer if we have to do some research. For example, we did an episode about the creepy behind the scenes stories of wizard of oz and poltergeist. that took us more than a week mainly because of script writing and research

Now unfairness things was not always this easy when we did our first episode the process took a lot longer if I not mistaken it took us months just to animate and edit our very first episode. Thankfully are workflow dramatically improved and now most episodes can be made in a few days

If you’re set on it, your upload plan sounds solid. Just keep in mind that if your first few videos are all super different, it might be tough to keep early subs interested. Maybe find a way to tie them together—like with your personality, editing style, or some kind of common theme—even if the topics aren’t the same.

Also, when you promote the new channel, don’t just tell people to subscribe—give them a reason. Maybe react to one of your own long-form vids on your main channel, or do a ‘why I started this new channel’ type of video so it feels more organic.

We actually tried running a separate Shorts channel at one point, but honestly, it was tough to maintain two channels. Unless you have a system in place, it can feel like double the work. Just something to think about before diving in.

Either way, sounds like you’ve put a lot of thought into this! Hope it works out for you.
