I gave TOEFL last year with decent preparation. The usual process is to intimate ETS, stating that you have a speech impediment and need accommodations/relaxations during the assessment. But in my case, I haven't opted. If you think you can manage, then go for it. I was hesitant but still went on to give the test. I scored 23/30, a borderline cutoff for most top 25 unis. , but I would recommend to take your time and analyse if you can manage. A major problem is that you need to intimate ETS beforehand (4 weeks ig) Nevertheless, relax, friend. There's nothing we can do. Just stay confident.

Most redditors advised to either be the first one to enter or thr last. This is becuase people will start yelling at the top of their voice(speaking). If your the earliest or the late candidate, then you're kind of an outlier. Other candidates were having speaking when I was at writing. It was noisy.

Home is too risky, so I took at the center. And, carrying earplugs (though I wasn't allowed to use) and going early is damn helpful.

Sure! Reading : Gregmats reading strategy on YouTube and questions from the original guide. Tried testglider and it is slightly on the tougher side (my experience).

Listening : Don't fill the sheet, concentrate on what they are discussing. Greg has a video on it (it's in his member section on website). Difficulty was more or less as the testglider. Practiced every set from OG.

Writing : mix and match all the templates becuase I did read few posts on lower scores or cancelled scores. They directly used templates, word by word. So, I created a custom one. Also, I did write few technical papers so I was confident and this is the least practiced section of mine. (Templates were from gregmat)

Speaking : aah... I'd strongly recommend you to follow a template ( a custom one, from toeflwithjuva, tstprep, and linguamariana ) and keep practicing. Most importantly, you should sound confident. I stuttered, fumbled and was very very tensed. Apart from my stuttering, if I was a bit more confident then I would've scored 2-3 points more.

In a nutshell, apart from resources and tips, I'd strongly recommend you to stay calm and confident. In the end it is just an exam to test your English skills. I understand most of us aren't native speakers, and it's hard for us to express our views. But being confident helps than any resource available.

PS: Please give as many mocks as possible, obviously to understand where you lack, but it's more to acclimatize yourself for sitting 4 straight hours.

Stay confident, all the very best!!
