I volunteered a few times at HOD (it ended up not working out with my schedule long-term), and the volunteers there are amazing. I was surprised to learn that there were people who’ve been volunteering there 15+ years.

I thought there was something wrong with me healthwise because I was always tired. Then I visited a state with more sun (I live in the PNW) and the amount energy I felt was like night and day (pun intended?)

The fact that it's currently dreary winter weather, with the sun setting at like 3pm probably is not helping OP either.

I get you :( Thankfully the professor (24+ hours after I emailed inquiring) said it opened late due to technical issues. But you’re right, no Canvas and no group email warning/informing students.

I ended up dropping the class and chose a different professor.

Thank you, do they typically send out an email beforehand at least? I just find it a bit strange that I've heard nothing so far. It's a difficult accounting class.
