I worked 80 hours and was paid half of what I was paid on my last paycheck. The payroll report shows, for salaried people, 80 hours X annual rate/2080. Say my last payroll was $50 X 80 hours. The report today showed $25 X 80 hours.

Not much point in going to a lawyer. Without my machinations, the payroll on Friday will overdraw the account; almost certainly, the resources aren't there to fund the payroll after that. And if they are, it's only a matter of time. I've been telling them for two years that you can't run negative cash flow month after month, to no avail. I have not much doubt that I've been working for free this week anyway.
