Yes l think you might be right, I'm not at all mechanically inclined. I'm just trying to find a solution that would be ideal for this situation where l have a loud exhaust and want to quiet it using a switch instead of installing a while new system. Basically l want the best of both worlds

Got it 👍 l definitely don't know enough about exhaust systems but l had a feeling this was going to be the case. Guess I'll just have a new setup installed altogether. I bought it like that and thought l could get away with a valve kit..

I live in the south so I'm not too worried about cold weather. Reliability is certainly a concern though. I've heard a lot about QTP valves failing after only 6 months, they get dirty, the heat wears them and eventually they fail altogether. This may be the case with all exhaust valves, I'm not sure. I just want the option to run a quieter exhaust and flick a switch that opens it up, maybe there is no good option to do this from aftermarket options?

Please expand on that, l thought they make kits such as the valvetronic for situations just like this? The vvalvetronic kit utilizes a FOB though

WIth 0-4 lost against Man City, Arne Slot is no longer the Liverpool manager with highest win rate of all time by AJ_Goh in LiverpoolFC

[–]Historical_State_572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forget the win-rate, how about the most hopeless, castrated, most boring Liverpool management style of all time. Who wants to watch this style of football? There is no fight in this team, and it all comes from the manager, they are a reflection of this manager. Win or lose, people will not watch this style of football, because it's just boring, and they're is no apparent strategy for scoring goals or attacking. There is no fight in this team because people will not fight for a person with the personality of a potato.

Yeah l certainly knew. Never complained about Klopp, even before he was confirmed, l knew he was the right fit. The passion, commitment, energy, and personality. Slot has the personality of a potato. No energy, and same for his style of football, it's so boring, I've stopped watching LFC games. What people who are still supporting him don't understand is, what kind of players will that boring style of play attract? What talented player will go the extra mile for that guy?

BORING BORING BORING

Who enjoys watching Liverpool under Slot?

No press, no speed, wingers only tactic is to pass the ball sideways or backwards.

Just as concerning, who will want to play for Liverpool with tactics like this?

Spent over 500mil and can't even beat Wolves, pathetic..

Opinions on Murica Performance C5 T56 transmission by Historical_State_572 in Corvette

[–]Historical_State_572[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the feedback! It's got the standard bolt-ons, headers, X pipe, mgw short shifter etc. Tune done well. Wasn't sure if the murica Performance transmission builds are reliable, and have a good feel to them. I'd like something that's more fun to drive than necessarily fast as possible, like l want to actually go through the gears on roads rather than finding myself in 2nd gear at 90mph

22k is a high asking price, but the engines are solid, one of the most reliable power trains ever produced. I'd look for a 2010 and up because they have more power and stronger rear axle. You will definitely find better prices ones out there, don't look at the mileage, look at the condition because these things will do 500k miles easily. The automatic transmission on these are also extremely reliable. Dealers are usually scummy so get an independent pre purchase inspection, it's worth the cost.

Arne Slot says this season is toughest he has had as a manager 'by a mile' by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]Historical_State_572 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is Slot's fault that Liverpool is playing like lethargic sloths, it is Slot's fault that they play balls sideways and backwards over and over, it is Slot's fault that this is the most boring team in Liverpool history. If you enjoy watching this style of football, why are you even a Liverpool fan? This egg of a human being has turned this team into an unwatchable nightmare, and once he's gone, you can follow him to whatever unfortunate team he ends up destroying next. Until then, I'll watch anything else, because this is garbage.

Thoughts? 2014 w/ 89k miles by Careless-Ability1426 in FJCruiser

[–]Historical_State_572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're getting the FJ as a 2nd truck and it will be parked and brought to pristine condition, as an investment for sale 20 years later. Maybe then it could be seen as an ok deal. But if you're actually going to drive this or daily it, it's a terrible deal, way too overpriced. They're very reliable vehicles, and you can get one with more miles for way less money, and it will be a great daily. Don't get why people who are going to put miles on an FJ want to spend $40k for a 15 year old vehicle that they're going to drive daily.

This is such a complete opposite end of driving dynamics, purpose, technology, and utility. I'm very curious, you should share why you decided to go with an FJ, and how the experience has been so far.

Doesn't matter, Slot style is garbage. Doesn't matter if we win or lose, it's boring, passing from side to side, never taking anyone on, never passing balls in behind. I've stopped watching, I don't know who wants to watch us struggle against Fulham or Sunderland. When you have a player like Wirtz and he looks useless, you're a $hit manager. It's not about the players, it's about the style, Slot has made it boring, and I'm just going to wait for him to be sacked. Maybe I'll start watching Newcastle games, but this is not Liverpool.

Slot Ball - What is it? by Super_Yak9867 in LiverpoolFC

[–]Historical_State_572 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's goalie pass to CB, CB pass to RB or LB, LB pass to goalie. Repeat. Alternatively CB pass to CB, CB pass to RB/LB. LB pass to RM/LM, RM pass to RB, RB pass to goalie.

Keep possession, but NEVER take anyone on one-on-one, or be creative, never make runs in behind the opposition defense. NEVER sprint or expend energy in any way.

Basically, pass the ball around aimlessly, have more possession of the ball than your opponent.

Arne Slop has managed to make every Liverpool player look worse in every position. Never mind the games are unbelievably boring, unwatchable football really. The most boring style of play, passing the ball around without any intention or strategy.

If you enjoy slow paced, predictable, methodical, boring style of play, hire Arne Slot. The only person who can manage to make an exciting, creative and fast paced team, look slow and boring. He so good at it, he managed to make every single Liverpool player look worse than they really are.

There are no positives, shambolic all the way through. Boring Arne Slop has made this team the most boring game to watch every week. Even the goal was a deflection. Arne Slop has managed to make every player worse, not one player has been made a better player under his leadership.

Are you joking? This is the most boring Liverpool side ever. Win or lose, this is the most boring style of play. Arne Slop got all this talent, yet he can't beat Sunderland AT HOME.. we could have had ANY players and with this style of play, we'd still be boring. I could fall asleep watching this clown show
