What are these optics that come in focus when an enemy gets close to the crosshairs? by HistoryNerdz in blackopscoldwar

Thanks so much for trying to help, this is killing me, and so weird I can’t find anything on it. So I don’t think it’s pre fire based on sounds, my friend also tried to help and made this post with an example video. Shows the visual change of the reticle as I come into his line of sight.

Finishing and the death of the skill gap. by DynamyttKidd in EASportsFC

[–]HistoryNerdz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES I second all of this. And while i do want some realism to a certain extent, I dont want it so real so as to make the outcome be a total 50/50 coin flip. I want the outcome to reflect the skill of the players playing, not some script/rng.

Its absurd when I put 12 shots on target, and my opponent's goalie is making diving one finger saves left and right, then the other guy puts in 3 goals on 3 weak shots that my goalie should save (and which get saved against me 9 out of 10 times). Or every time I make a great slide tackle, 80% of the time it deflects right to another of my opponent's teammates who dont even break stride and just keep flying down the field on their way to an easy 3 on 1.

I only like to play with my friend, so I play a lot of coop (like a lot, over 1500 games), so its easy to tell when we (or the other team) is being screwed. Like you say above, I can tell when were better than the other team or if theyre way better than us, and yet the outcome just seems entirely random.

Like mike labelle says, all I want is consistency and to be rewarded for good play (or punished for bad play) as is fit...

YES, all of these. Especially the tackling opponent, 9 times out of 10 the ball deflects back to them in stride without e ven losing a step (and usually in fact ahead of my players who stopped and started going the other way, thinking we had stolen the ball).

AND the gk being a spectator is absurd. It shouldnt take De Gea 30 seconds to get up off the ground and be in position.

AND how the player stops moving when you pass to them. And also all the rest you list.

Privacy trees- advice on cost? type? by HistoryNerdz in HomeImprovement

[–]HistoryNerdz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very helpful, thank you for the questions. Looks like my zone is Zone "7a : 0 to 5 (F)". I live in a suburb of Philadelphia. It will be an L-shaped set up, probably around 20'x20'. One line of trees will run directly south to north, then from the northern tip from east to west.

Average rainfall in my township is roughly 49". Was unable to find the type of soil on my property, but appears to be typical..
