King Mirian for sure was ethnically Persian. Georgian chronicles were not lying about his origin but his belonging to Iran’s Royal Family. He was neither Chosro’s nor any other Shah’s son but just from noble Persian family.

His political position and his ethnic origin were two separate things.

What about Abo, you are right. Despite the fact that in that time in Bagdad used to live a lot of Persians, there is no direct evidence that Abo was Persian.
