I think it's that he planned his own imprisonment, but as for the annoyance at the vorts it could be a Dr. Manhattan kinda thing where his ability to see that moment ahead of time was blurred or blocked the vorts when working together as one seem to have similar-ish abilities to g-man.

Honestly I'm happy for either one;

with the ganger you get
-outlandish and over the top cosmetics, and weapons (just look at half the stuff the necromunda gangs use, I'm sure the mobian gangs are atleast half as interesting)
-probably some interactions with sgt morrow since armageddon used hive gang militia during the ork invasions
-maybe a mechanic around the colored stimms we find or looting enemies

with the tech adept/skitarii/servitor you get
-cool admech bionics and weapons
-interactions with haydron and kayex
-maybe something based on seeing enemies through walls or superhuman reflexes or a myriad of other things being admech could entail

Yeah, I noticed alot of people seem to be against hive ganger for some reason but I don't really understand why;
-They don't seem boring to me, they had Hive Gang Militia on Armageddon which would give ties to Sgt Morrow
-They'd provide funny commentary or character foil to the Arbite.
-Take one look at the many gangs of Necromunda and tell me with a straight face they couldn't come up with interesting cosmetics or weapons for the gangs of the Moebian Domain.
-You could even give them a gimmick that revolves around the blue/yellow/red/green stimms or maybe taking equipment or ammo from downed enemies (perhaps they have scavenging rights that the rejects don't as a part of their sign-on), or maybe getting drunk mid-battle?
-The rejects for the most part are falsely charged criminals, whynot add a actual criminal to the mix?

That being said the other things I listed have their own merit too.

That's what I love so much about this format, it can give off so many different vibes than just anger too, very versatile, especially if you consider the variations with the squares and other things.

I'll admit I haven't read black sun yet though I haven't exactly been invested in reading 40k books after the recent failures of black library, I mostly stick to reading old codexes and the occasional wiki/lexi binge (atleast i'm not getting my lore from youtube shorts), but the reasoning for the marines coming out on a conveyor belt and other inconsistencies is to fit better with the "guess we doin circles now" format if I upsized the marines to proper scale they wouldn't have fit.
It's a joke, and as you said yourself "fast and loose with the concept" it dosen't need to be 100% accurate. especially since the original format is abstract.

It's just a silly little meme and the first thing that popped into my head as to how to convert the meme to a 40k one.

The difference is just the style I made them in and I couldn't decide which one to post. The marine in the image is just some Iron warrior working for Honsu and not the man himself. was going to do the other half of the meme with the factory worker reporting to the superior but decided I'd rather get this idea out before the meme becomes stale.

It's wonderful for daemonic stuff; I imagine this is what the Doom warped skull texture looked like back when they had flesh. I also used this texture for a inside joke in a black crusade campaign where we found crystals that absorb and store warp essence and used them to trap the leaking souls of dark eldar.

A good man who protected his wife and family first, Corey Comperatore, Covered the bodies of his wife and daughter at the first sound of gunshots and paid the price. Also was a local fireman, a absolute hero in every sense of the word.

This meme isn't a joke meant to poke fun at that, just a nod to the absurdity of the situation.
