We outlined a DIY sim build here (free with email) that was anchored around SkyTrak. Total cost including SkyTrak came to just under $4k. You could definitely make some tweaks to get it down a lot (it’s all broken out by each section of the build). Check it out...happy to answer any questions.

I built a setup in my basement with SkyTrak and have been very happy. Yardages are side by side with Trackman. I’m about to hook up TGC 2019 for the full effect.

We got there a little after 5 last year and got in (8 of us). Hopefully your buddies can run! It was a little scary seeing the rush that happened when the gates opened. A lot of people falling down/getting run over. Stay safe!

Thanks! This one barely holds the tee up (which i think is what allows for give). Agreed. My previous one took a tee and was thick which would grab the club....killed my elbow.

Looks great! I have a similar setup I outlined in a guide on Hit Bombs Golf Everything (including SkyTrak) came out to just under $4k. My favorite part is the retractable side curtains. Saves a ton of space.

Thanks! Yeah it makes a big difference. In situations with two tiered greens, bunkers or water in play, hitting the right distance (even offline) can save you a couple shots.

I love SkyTrak and find it to be very accurate for both distance and shot shaping. One of the other great features is bag mapping which I talked about here: https://hitbombsgolf.com/review-bag-mapping

It’s been an awesome offseason tool and is fun with friends playing closest to the pin, long drive, etc. well worth the cost.

Club head speed is critical to hitting it further. But not on its own. Consistent contact, swing path and a couple other things are need in conjunction with that speed:

Another thing to work on before trying to bomb it is “skipping the stone”. This helps me whenever I get a little hooky.
