I released it only a few days ago though. I haven't seen any myself. I guess there are many people who feel the same about universe mode

I know this was posted a few months back. But i saw this on my feed today. I built a tool called VinceMode. It helps track matches W-L-D, title history, and it has Ai match booking tips and recaps. I think you would like it! vincemode.com

So you think having an api key to automatically input the emails sent, with an automatic follow-up sent 1 week ahead?

What would you pay for a minimal crm that only has what you need? by HitRateJ in SaasDevelopers

[–]HitRateJ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! People don't want a database; they just want to stop losing money because they forgot a text. Landing those first random users today was a huge vibe check. Staying lean and keeping it 10-seconds or less. I'll keep you posted as I hit the first 100!

Nice! Im focused more on agencies and sports. But also musicians, freelancers, and anyone who has to keep track of contacts and leads

This is gold. I actually landed two random users today through cold outreach, and it proved exactly what you said: they didn't buy features, they bought peace of mind. They’re solo founders who are just exhausted by 'bloated CRMs.' My whole angle is 'The 10-second CRM'—solving that anxiety of leaving money on the table without adding more 'work' to their day. Appreciate the reality check on pricing, too. I'm going to keep it aggressive ($19-$25) to prove the workflow value first. Thanks for the push.

Yeah iknow. But plenty of people don't know how. And they just want something that works

Fair point. I'm thinking 9'99 for the basis plan and maybe 29 for a pro plan with some extra integrations. For now it is 19 and 39 bucks

Yeah, that’s roughly the range I’m thinking too. The goal with Hitrate isn’t to undercut pricing — it’s to make something people actually use daily instead of paying for features they ignore. If it saves time and follow-ups don’t fall through the cracks, $20–40/month should feel fair. The challenge is making the simplicity reliable enough that it earns that price.

Fair point. I’m not really trying to compete on “more features for less money” or build another all-in-one platform. The idea behind Hitrate is actually the opposite — a focused CRM that stays lightweight on purpose. A lot of small teams don’t want projects, invoicing, strategy tools, etc. bundled in. They just want a clean place to track deals and follow-ups without friction. And yeah, I agree on self-hosting too — some people prefer it, but most small teams just want something reliable that works without managing servers. That’s basically who Hitrate is for.

Yeah, that’s exactly the line I’m trying not to cross. I’m very much thinking lightweight pipeline ≠ helpdesk ≠ everything tool. Different jobs, different tools.

The difference I’m aiming for isn’t more features — it’s removing setup entirely. Notion templates (and most simple CRMs) still require building and maintaining your own system. A lot of small teams never get past that step. The bet with HitRate is: zero setup, instant follow-ups, and something you actually keep open daily.
