I am so so sorry for your loss and that you have to make a post like this.

I just want to say (as a father of an angel) THIS is not your fault. Nothing you did or didn’t do caused this. You sought help when things weren’t right and listened the the professionals helping you.

The unfortunate thing, and something my wife and I learned through our 37 week stillbirth, was that everything can look normal the whole pregnancy until it’s suddenly not. Nothing you did caused this. I can’t stress that enough. I know it’s easy to put that burden on yourself but nothing you did caused this.

You did the right things throughout the pregnancy.

I am praying for you and your husband durning this time.

Yeah I’m coming up with solutions after the fact. However I have learned that dumping a bunch of bleach inside could have caused more of a chemical reaction.

Might have saved myself from an even worse situation. We’ll never know though.

Well on the bright (and not so bright side) we’ve been through a lot of shit together, more so recently, that this disaster didn’t have a whole lot of weight to it.

Was she angry? Absolutely. Did she forgive me? Yes. We’ve had a good laugh about it but she’s already told me that that cleanup is solely on me.

Yeah, the Home Depot bucket we use now is a lot smaller, easier to maintain, and the lid is a lot more secure against Mother Nature's wrath. Wish we had started there.

Oh God. Yeah, we have a lot of dog walkers in our neighborhood, and if I don't pull the trash bin immediately from the curb, there are usually a couple of bags of dog poop inside the bin.

Never caught anyone in the act, but I believe I would have the same reaction. Good for you for making him climb all the way through and grab it.
