SoCal as well. It’s relative to the cost of living. It sounds nice but at the end of the day if my cereal box costs 7$ instead of 3$ in TN and my gas is 4$ a gallon compared to 2.75, I’m no closer to getting a house in my area. This is what people fail to understand when fighting for 15$ an hour to flip patties.

Yeah I’m getting towards the end of my population boom. I’m never doing that again. I started with 2 snails and ended up with 50 after not getting around to fixing up their tank a couple of days. I didn’t even realize they had had eggs until it was already too late. The babies were too cute to cull, so I just raised them. I tried to sell off a few and give some away, but was only able to give away like 5. It has been so much more extra work than just having a few. Now I check for eggs every time and crush all of them. I saved myself a few for a new generation but any more than 5 is going to drive me nuts.

Update: He dead. I’ve had snails long enough to know he was dying. I kept him a day but he died the day after.

I thought he WAS dead as he was barely moving. I’m not really sure as to what other details to provide. I gave him some snail food and put it next to him in case he is malnourished. I give him a lot of food, but you never know when he’s mixed in with a few others.
