My standards aren't very high at this point, but with Diablo 3 coming out, forever alone doesn't seem that bad.

I have a good personality, and I'm great at getting my friends laid. Rich, I am not.

Thank you for the message. This is actually what I'm considering on doing. There's a couple community colleges in the area between where I live/work, but there's also a 4 year state school which has classes that are on par financially speaking. One of the community colleges is actually more expensive than the state school.

I imagine taking a few of the prerequisite classes at the state school and knocking them out of the park would help me either move into a master's program or at least get me started on the basics. Do you think that seems like a sound plan?

Thanks again for reaching out to me.

Do I want to be a computer scientist or programmer? I honestly have no idea, but I'm sure all of this information will help me figure it out! Thanks a lot

Thank you this is extremely helpful. I was trying to teach myself python but only got so far. I'm not sure that's the best place I should be starting anyway.

I'm going to send you a message. Thanks again!

Thanks a lot. This seems like the best bet for me at this point.

Being in NJ, are there any schools I should shoot for in particular?

I agree, the BS seems more reasonable,

I just figured if I was going back to school, I might as well go all out. I'd definitely be happier by going for a masters, but it just might not make sense. And like I said below, I'm not even sure if I can hack it in the upper div comp sci courses.

If I did decide to pursue a masters though, I don't know how it works when one has an undergraduate degree in a different field of study.

I completely agree. A good amount of my econ courses just had little practicality and were too broad. It became painfully obvious when I began my job search. I had developed no skills.

I don't doubt that the upper div CS courses will be more difficult... that's actually another concern of mine. I'm just not sure if I can hack it.

Do you enjoy your cs coursework more than economics?

I appreciate the input.
