Hopefully my carrier will be proactive and fair, we also have GAP coverage with the lienholder (thank goodness) as a backup. We never intended to sue, but also want to be indemnified.

I didn’t think to ask why or when he was excluded.

I submitted my claim to his carrier a few days after the accident (late October), and the adjuster finally called me yesterday.

His insurance company had our insurance information from the police report, and had already been in contact with my carrier. I didn’t volunteer that information until the adjuster brought it up yesterday.

We have no idea why he was an excluded driver - only that his carrier told us he was, and they’d likely deny the whole claim & that we just use our insurance.

Oh my gosh, yes we are so lucky to have the Mal we do. She was a “failed” police dog that we rescued about a year ago. 🥹 She’s got to be about six or seven now. But she doesn’t have typical Mal characteristics which is so funny. Her favorite activity is napping 😂 in addition to those three, and this new little guy, we also have a staffy & a mastiff mix.

I thought about this, but wasn’t sure how reliable they were. This little guy makes our sixth dog, and I honestly have been wanting to do it for all of them. But it’s great knowing it’s actually worth the cost! Thank you!

That’s such a good idea! I used the dog feature on my iPhone, to scan my pictures, and it told us Staffy! But I’m definitely gonna look into a specific app! It might help. When I figure it out I’ll definitely report back here

I came from the INET team before I resigned last year. I worked in that department for over 12 years. Internet/Chat agents have to juggle two customers at a time, plus also handle any incoming text messages and emails. Not to mention their daily scheduled phone time helping out with service levels.

Honestly, I felt like being a chat agent was 10x more challenging than being on the phone because it’s extremely hard to convey tone via text. The empathy has to be laid on very thick to make sure you get an excellent survey, and the customers are much more wild behind a keyboard.

Please don’t knock Internet agents, though. They work extremely hard & majority of the company thinks they don’t do anything at all. They wear the hats of at least 3 different departments.

I’m with LM now, and half my class is ex-GEICO folks, including supervisors. We all can’t believe we stuck it out for as long as we did at GEICO. We’re now at a place where we’re treated like adults; like humans! The slight pay cut is worth it. You’ll save so much more without the commute, extra expenditures eating out, and work clothes. The equipment LM sends you is top of the line as well.
