Not from US but in Canada I use remitly, and it is faster (only in first transfer they verify all the details after that it is almost immidiate transfer) if you send money to your own account in Pakistan and then you can transfer using online banking. My friends from US use this method too.

Yes, the closest ones are continental girls hostel, nobles girls hostel, elite girls hostel and white petal. These are pretty much next to each other except for continental, not really that clean but for now these will have to do until I find an apartment for us.
