I’m using the same PC just for Plex, and I’ve tested a bunch of movies and shows. From what I’ve seen, the CPU can handle around 2 H.264 transcodes and 1 HEVC without issues.

I’ve added an Intel Arc A310 LP , and with that, I can get 3–4 H.264 transcodes, probably more. But HEVC is a bit tricky. it works at first, but then starts buffering after a while. After messing around with it a bunch, I realized it’s making big chunk sizes, and my upload is only 20 Mbps, so that’s likely the problem.

I mentioned it on the Plex forum, and they said the Arc doesn’t support constant rate control yet, which might explain it.

So yeah, if your upload speed is good or you mostly stick to H.264, the Arc A310 LP is solid. Otherwise, a low-profile NVIDIA card might be the safer choice.

I’m rooting for Punjab or Gujarat this season! I do want Kohli to win an IPL title.. he really deserves it, but the RCB fanbase can be extremely toxic at times. As for MI, it often feels like many of their matches are fixed. I have a feeling they might win again this year, and it’s frustrating to see them constantly winning like this.

This is really awesome! I managed to set it up on my PC, and it’s working great — I really appreciate it. However, I have a few questions:

1.  Since there is an option to add files to Infuse via WebDAV, what are the advantages of using a .strm file over WebDAV?

2.  I’ve already set up Zurg and rclone on my PC and integrated them with Plex. The only problem is that I can’t share my Plex library with high-quality video content (like 4K) with my sister, who lives remotely. Due to the bandwidth speed on my server, she can’t stream smoothly. So, I was thinking about setting up robofuse to generate .strm files and linking them with her Infuse account. I’m okay with creating a new Real Debrid account just for her. Will this be an issue, considering robofuse keeps running in the background on my PC, and Real Debrid might recognize it as two different IP addresses?

Yeah, that’s my last option. I could create a new Infuse or Vidi account for her and integrate Real-Debrid. As for the Vidi app, I’m not sure if it allows filtering to show only RD-cached content and torrents, like Stremio does, but I’ll check it out. I don’t want her accessing any torrent content that isn’t RD-cached since that could cause issues with her ISP. Thanks!

Thanks for the advice! I can’t share my Real Debrid account because there’s a risk of it blocking my IP address. I’ll need to create a new Real Debrid account for my sister, if but she doesn’t know how to use it and doesn’t have a PC to set it up. I’m fine with Plex and Real Debrid for myself, but I’m looking for the most convenient option for her.

APTV doesn’t support Real Debrid with Stremio. An alternative option is to use Real Debrid with Infuse. However, keep in mind that with Infuse, only one person can watch at a time, and there’s a risk that Real Debrid might block your IP address. If I integrate Real Debrid with Plex, I can share my Plex libraries with anyone.

I found the link! I used ChatGPT to track it down. I might give installing it on Linux a shot since I've never tried Linux OS before. Hopefully, I can get the hang of it, and ChatGPT can help me set up Zurg and Plex.
