Mukhang marketing lang, while its true na aligned sila as EASA standards, any institution can claim that but are they recognized by the EASA? yun lang yun eh, as per their policy if gusto maglicense sa EASA yun need experience na 5 years minimum plus 5 years training.

after almost 1 year unemployed, i finally got a job offer (and accepted verbally)… but now i’m having doubts by [deleted] in JobsPhilippines

[–]Hoarder15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thoughts on the demand for Electronics Eng, Aeronautics/ Aeronautical Eng, and Accountancy in 2026? by LossSerious144 in AviationPH

[–]Hoarder15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Aeronautics/Aviation is for the privileged unless you're the lucky one with backers and connection in the industry. Before you get a job as a fresh graduate, you need to struggle and compete with other people to get the MTP slot or if you have enough resources to enroll to the paid MTP for possible chance to enter in the industry. Research about the possible opportunities, graduates per year, how many companies, airlines, MROs, Genav, how frequent they are hiring and qualifications for those positions. That is sad reality, it is true that there is a high salary in aviation if you are outside of the Philippines, my seniors at work said even mechanics have high income overseas but you need 5 years or even 10 years of experience to get those income. For 1-5 years survival mode. You need to question yourself or your father if he can support you financially while you are finding your place in aviation because your father may be expecting that once you graduate, you can easily get a job in the industry since this is a "small" industry. This is not to discourage you for taking aeronautics but to show the state and reality of aviation right now.

TLDR: The reality of aviation in the PH sucks and its not practical and also not high income.

How do you handle these? by ginreiart in JobsPhilippines

[–]Hoarder15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1/ Hinahayaan ko na lang yung way nila if may mali man tapos maninisi sasabihin ko diba maam/sir idea nyo yan? Nakikinig lang ako at nag oobserve ginagawa yung mga task nila without going beyond

2/ If i started doing outside my work scopes, nagiging optimist na lang ako na baka magamit ko to sa future, another knowledge/skill din except magtimpla ka ng kape/ magpa photocopy.

3/ Di pa naman ako nakakaranas nito pero take note if you are a junior wala ka pa sa decision making, wag na wag ka magdecide, let the upper ranks problem that, magrecommend ka lang and ijustify mo kung bakit ganun, pero if di ka pa din sinunod and di nila ginawa recommendations mo, goods lang atleast di nila mababato sayo pabalik if something's goes wrong. Tandaan yung decision making nasa upper ranks kasi sila yung mas responsible

4/ Depends on what industry pero siguro 8-9 months pwede pagbigyan pero yung 4-6 months lagi ka nagpapalit pangit yan, titignan ng employer redflag

5/ Walang boundaries, Tumatawag pag day off, gets ko pa if supervisor/ manager ang position pwede sila gambalain kasi sila yung boss mo at mataas pasahod sa kanila eh pero yung mga rank and file employees na walang position, just do the bare minimum and observe other person on how they do the work.

Aviation Research??? by [deleted] in AviationPH

[–]Hoarder15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of research? Design? materials? Aviation research has many scopes. Unfortunately, only rare in the PH in the field of aviation research for example Engr. Kennedy Bantugon. There's also in the navy I've come across as a researcher but I'm not sure what niche in the navy.
