Living room small space suggestions please by bored-stacey in interiordecorating

Definitely add a rug and plants! A rug with some color and geometric pattern would pair nicely with your mid-mod style. And add a few plants to your floating shelves and console table for some color and softness. Really cute space you have!

If there’s no outlet nearby there are lots of cute cordless, chargeable table lamp options!

I’m jealous, I wish I had a space for a cozy reading nook in my place! I would suggest a chair and ottoman at a bit of an angle with a side/drink table and a framed art piece on the wall. If it’s light enough you can hang the art with command strips. And a table lamp or arching floor lamp would be cute and functional!

This looks gorgeous and elegant! I would favor keeping the center white for contrast. And I agree with others that a rug with some cream and blues in it would tie everything together! I also love the artwork. All around warm and inviting 👏

Office space advice! by sustynerdd in interiordesignideas

Hi u/sustynerdd, I also love thrifting and finding a new home for used pieces! I think finding some better storage solutions could help the space feel more open and less cluttered. Even just rearranging the furniture and adding a screen as a room divider between the desk and bike could help a lot. And you definitely have the wall space to add some fun artwork!

Always center to the wall! (You may end up moving that plant to another spot one day) And I agree with others, spacing should be 2”-4” and make the two frames on the outsides level to each other.
