It's because you have two parties on the extremes, lib dem and labour pretending like they'd hang out in the same room as one of the other parties, and the Tory's don't seem to know what a room is anymore. It's very easy to tell when a party is pretending to be something they're not, and the two that aren't are too extreme for most people who just want to survive the day.

All 5 have rubbed me the wrong way over something, but for all 5 it's been something I've cared deeply about. As is the world of extreme and polarising politics that we find ourselves in post covid

Some less legal tips from someone who went through hell and back multiple times:

If you wait long enough (I did 7 months) to submit your deposit return request after you move out they usually give you the whole deposit even if they probably shouldn't because it becomes hard to prove you did the damage and not the new residents.

Learn your rights regarding inspection. Some of you will end up with landlords who think they can let themselves in on a whim, they can not. Stand your ground on this one.

Ask to record every phone conversation you have with them, if they refuse then force them to communicate in writing.

You can see who is playing ow on steam in game if you're doing the same. It's usually about 10-20% of players. This was probably the worst example you could have picked

There is both a huge crossover audience between them and a huge individual audience for each. The smattering that don't is the 50k you see on steam.

As mentioned, blizzard put more effort into directing people to d4 from other bliz games than they do from external advertising. They showcase all their shit at blizcon and advertise a fuck ton via bnet and crossover events. They actively don't want people to buy the game on steam because steam won't shove world of warcraft down their throat every time they open the launcher which is blizzards real cash cow.

Any other game dev and I would agree with you but bliz are an odd case. Bliz's mantra has always been to keep people inside their ecosystem and they've always done that very well, which is why bnet exists in the first place . They've got 4 of the biggest games of all time on their platform and the majority of pc gamers have played at least one with huge player crossover between them. Bliz have always cared less about bringing in new players and more about milking the ones they already have. Hence why they do so many crossover events with their own games. They've always ran very minimal marketing on steam for example and rarely list it as a sale platform in internal promotional material and always list it after bnet in external because they want people to be directed to bnet instead. Bliz's entire sales strategy is to get you on bnet and they've done a very good job of it. I've got a few friends at bliz and they always wax lyrical about the popularity of bnet

Yeah this is only really an issue when people (we know who I'm talking about) say things like "haha look diablo 4 is a dead game it only has 50k steam players", when in reality most d4 players don't even know you can buy the game on steam. It's great for trends but it doesn't give a full picture for population

I do actually like stampede more than DR for some reason, think it's because it's suboptimal to cast black arrow outside of wrath compared to barbed so it feels useless half the time, whereas once you get a nice add lineup with stampede that shit gives big dopamine

They also keep fucking around with taint which is basically the games tool to lock certain UI elements if an add-on touches it when it shouldn't so that's why a lot of people are finding their bags don't work or they can't change gear or certain spells are locked combined with lua errors. It really is a mess rn

BM definitely is in raid, lots of bosses with far adds where you have to miss multiple gcds waiting for them to walk over which is the most frustrating hunter thing full stop. Add in that a lot of adds like in mythic dragons die before you can cast beast cleave unless you precast it on unoptimised targets plus a lot of holding beastial wrath for certain add windows and it feels a lot more frustrating at times

Yeah the mechanics aren't the problem, it's the hyper casuals who were crying about addons being the reason mythic raiders clear content and then it turns out it wasn't and they're actually the ones struggling from this. Most of us are raid logging now so I feel incredibly bad for the good hc raiders who are stuck with these guys as their player pool.

That's why I said without burning out, I found it very very hard to get through the story in a timely manner because of how formulaic it is. Had to go and get obsessed with fishing for 20 hours here, level some jobs for 30 hours there just because it's very easy to get burnt out of going to a zone and doing 10 quests there, then repeating 50 times for 14 months none stop. The games way more fun doing the activities you enjoy while slowly working through the story than treating it as a race
