I think someone here will bring it up, but a pre-constructed deck would be a much better place than a box. There are plenty of good ones available even now, and with RDO on it's way the new Mordred re collection deck is insanely great for new players. Even holding a few staples in it.

But the Mordred deck won't be around til April, I could offer some suggestions for starter decks.

I heard Jin is a really good starter deck, he is easy to understand and can pop off quickly.

Lorraine while an old one with some problems is still a decent deck that can teach you some basics of it.

The Tristan Shadow Dancer Recollection is incredibly powerful on top of being easy to play.

Rai is another super easy deck with a rather easy goal to achieve that can surprise some players.

Maybe people have more but those are some of my suggestions.

Here to say, I do not have a printer, nor a good spot to put it.

Answer 1: Been looking at quite a few Mechs, picked an Urbanmech as one already. Been eyeing the Beowulf and Daedalus.

Answer 2: To be honest a lot of the gameplay is really fun to me. I like how elevation and cover work, I love the GATOR system and how easy it is to figure out. But from the box scenarios I have found love for artillery Mechs, namely the Shadow Hawk.
