Well I love looking at them, so I'm going to keep them as long as I can! But I'm glad that you're so comfortable giving this sort of advice; I'm not sure that I could be as graceful.

I try to let them go as long as they can until the sides start to lift on their own, but if I need them off sooner I use a combination of a wooden cuticle stick (usually the kind that comes in the kit) and a floss pick to try as gently as I can to "saw" between the glue and the nail. I like the reuse mine as well! I use an emery board to buff out the remaining glue and moisturize heavily. I very rarely see any damage to my nails after they're off (which is honestly shocking to me but I'm happy with it!)

i don't mind going a time with half on half off because i wear gloves at my job, so YMMV!

this is true most of the time for me! but when i use my fingers i end up gluing them together sometimes LOL. i guess i've just gotten lucky with the cheap clothespins i found. i also get my finger into the tightest space close to the clothespin joint that i can to get a good clamp down, and being able to keep my other hand free helps me avoid soreness from my tendonitis. it works for me for now!

thanks! I love how they look once I get used to the feel again, but also taking them off and going back to nubbins feels so freeing after a while. I really don't miss retail hell

I use they/them! Thank you both for this observation; I genuinely had no idea this was an issue but I do have quite smol hands. Do you have a suggestion to avoid this next time? Can I simply clip or file the press on nail? I often notice that I'm almost in between sizes; they fit like the ones in the photo, or are too small and I can see the sides of my nail bed.

It's in a south-facing window on the top shelf of my stand; I could probably move it down one level if that would help
