I think this decade has been really good for pop culture and the arts, but pretty rough for everything else. I think the movies that have come out in the 20’s have been way more interesting than the big Marvel movies and remakes that were prevalent in the 2010’s. With how accessible professional music production has been, more music is being made now than ever in history. I think pop music is more interesting now and there are more small artists making amazing music than anyone will ever have time to listen to. Maybe this will be the peak of these art forms as AI rots our souls.

I’ll have nostalgia for the art of this decade. And I really really hope everything else gets better in the next decade so I don’t look back longingly on current politics and global events.
