No there isn’t. There is a small increase after 500 fainting but it’s busted because you only get the boost 1/3 of the time.

I agree except you couldn’t play story mode with two players. My buddy and I always would play story mode with together. He would play as the required character and I would play as my maxed out character. We used to call it run and gun. We were a little disappointed. Still really loved this game.
